rocksteady's helmet

how come rocksteady did not have his helmet on after season 1? What did they do with it? When Season 1 came it was gone. I also noticed rocksteady's voice sounded more dangerous in season 1 than in all other seasons.

Bebop told him that it made him look fat so he gave it to good will.

I know in the first season they had those machine guns that shot out real bullets, so the helmet was probably to give Rocksteady a more milltant look. But after they chose to tone down the violent content, the machine guns were changed to stun ray blasters. I'm guessing after that they chose to make Rocksteady's getup more street punkish like Bebop's had always been.

The first season was animated by Toei Studios in Japan while the second season was done by a Korean studio whose name escapes me at the moment.

The Korean studio had a slightly different character design for Rocksteady than Toei did, hence the change in appearance. That's also why Baxter Stockman and various Channel 6 employees (Burke and Vernon) looked different too.

They weren't stun lasers, they were photon blasters. Ever notice how sometimes the lasers make nice holes in things? A stun laser wouldn't do that. They can set their lasers to stun though.

I really liked how Rocksteady looked with his helmet on, I missed it when it was gone.

IT is hard to understand why Rocksteady did away with his helmet. He more cartoonier without it.

I think they should have just been given nerf guns instead.
"Rocksteady, we're taking away your helmet and giving you a super soaker to beat up on those rotten toitles." Kids' shows are neat.

For bebop and rocksteady doing away with stuff like the helmet, when did rocksteady loose those spots on his pants and when did the stun guns get done away with? I rarley saw them after Enter the fly, they were used when they stunned baxter down when they found him.

I really wish somehow they kept the first season Rocksteady and Bebop, Not just the designs, but the fact they were dumb, yet still menacing....
