Has Leatherhead fought the Turtles in the Mirage comics?
I've heard in the Mirage comics that he's a good guy.

In both Mirage and Archie continuites, he starts out duking it out with the turtles (although for completely different reasons - the two Leatherheads are completely different characters), but realises they are not his enemy and is a misunderstanding. In Mirage, its more like "he's an acquiantance that we started out on the wrong foot with, but we still don't really see much of him", where as in Archie they became actual friends. Of course, the next issue of Volume 4 may either strengthen the friendship with the turtles, or sever it completely!

In Mirage it was actually a 'oh hi there, we're stuck in the same mess and we're kinda the same let's help each other. you can live in our old sewer home if you like' then it turned into Leatherhead feeling 'argh i am so angry! you all tricked me you will pay!' then it became 'so long farewell' and now he's gonna duke it out with raph
I hope that method of story telling wasn't too bad |

It'll be out in a month or two I think. I believe it will be issue 17. It's the next issue of the series.

???? what you're describing sounds more like Dan Berger's ish (#45?) or possibly even the run-in in the Image series, but it's definitely not the original Leatherhead story in Tales (#6?). Their first meeting consisted of Leatherhead saving their butts from a Kraven The Hunter wannabe, and then explaining his mutation origin. |
