Best TMNT Movie Soundtrack? Best Songs?

I have unusual music tastes. I am usually listening to WWE/WWF wrestling songs or....MC HAMMER or... the TMNT 1 and 2 soundtracks ( haven't got 3), and maybe some other stuff.

Partner's In Kryme "Turtle Power" is considered the most popular one, but Spunkadelic's "9.95" is the best song of the TMNT1 soundtrack. A very good, under-rated early nineties song.

All of TMNT 1's songs are good and better than TMNT 2's.

My best song of the TMNT 2 soundtrack is Ya Kid K's "Awesome ( You Are My Hero)".There's some weak tracks here like Fifth Platoon's "Back To School" and " This World" by Magnificent VII.

Ya Kid K sings in ALL 3 Movie soundtracks, all very good songs. The TMNT3 music was more impressive than the film itself!

As you may see, i've gotta a lot of love for the early 90s especially 1990 and 1991 because they were the best years of my life. I'm a bit emotional at this moment...

1990 AND 1991=BEST YEARS OF MY LIFE= RESPECT!!!

I like "Turtle Power" better.

"In the half-shell they're the heroes four,
In this day and age who can ask for more,
The crimewave is high with muggings mysterious,
The police and detectives are furious,
'Cause they can find the source,
Of this lethally evil force,
This is serious so give me a quarter,
I was a witness get me a reporter,
Call April O'Neil in on this case,
Hey you better hurry up there's no time to waste..."

I don't like the genre of music used, but... I like the songs anyway just because they're in Turtles I guess... some I don't like as much, but I love most of the 2 sound track.

NINJA RAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't like Vanilla Ice, but...that one song redeemed him for me XD

I used to be able to do the 'fall back on one hand' thing they do in the dance....my friend and I used to practice it all the time ^_^

Also the insturmentals in TMNT1 when the guys are coming back from their first fight, THOSE are awesome...

I think the two best songs on the TMNT 3 soundtrack are "Tarzan Boy" and "Can't Stop Rockin'".

'Raphael he's the leader of the group, transformed from the norm by the nuclear goop' ~ Turtle Power

I think they only added that lyric for the rhyming of the other three boys' names. I forgive them for it.

YES! Exactly what my answer was going to be. I have to give my respects to the "Ninja Rap" and "Turtle Power", but those two are my favorites from the three.

i like Turtle power (dispite them calling raphie leader) 9.95, the TMNT suite with movie quotes thrown in, Ninja Rap, tarzan Boy and can't stop rockin'. It seems that we all have the opinions of the fave songs.....but why did they put Turtle Power on TMNT 3's soundtrack???

we need help like quick on the double
Have pitty on the city man we're in trouble
we need hero's like the lone ranger and tonto
came pronto when there was danger
they didn't say "we'll be there in 1/2 an hour"
cause they displayed TURTLE POWER!!!!

The first movie soundtrack was good. I can't remember what this song is called, but my favorite song was the one playin while they were fihting Shredder.

I think it was called "Enter the Shredder" by John Du Prez, who did the score for the film. I may be wrong about the title. But that music IS bad-ass. As is the music when Mikey runs to save Yoshi in TMNT 3.
