So at what point does a collection get out of hand?

Ok, I got ambitious and decided to start putting away some of the many MOC/MIB items I have. So I went out an bought a couple more plastic flip-top storage totes. So now after a few hours of packing up figures and updating my inventory list, I have more than 65 containers full of figures, vehicles, etc.. with more stuff that I didn't have room for yet. Not to mention two rooms full of loose figures.

So when does it become enough? Is there any point when you would consider your collection complete?

My goal is to have every figure from the vintage line. Then from there I'll be after finding all their accessories for the incomplete figures and variations. Then once that's done I'll start going for the MOC's. Of course I'll probably be dead before I even get every figure loose but at least it's a goal to keep me busy.

I don't think theres even a stage where collecting stops as you'll move onto somthing else. After all part of collecting is being in awe of evertything you don't have.

My goal is to have a complete 2K3 collection(every figure, vehivle, playsey, exclusive) and then I'd like to complete my vintage line.

It gets out of hand when you realize one day that you bought the TMNT Water Sprinkler when you live in Arizona.

I don't think my collection will ever be complete but I will keep collecting nontheless. It's something I enjoy and that's the main reason why I do it.

My goal for the TMNT line is to have one of every different figure. It would be impossible to obtain all the color & package variations so I'm only aquiring the one's I like best. I definitly know where you're coming from tmntman. I've got a toy room full of boxes and several closets full as well.

I no longer buy just any misc items unless it's something I can't resist. My main TMNT collections include Action Figures, Comics, Plush & Trading Cards. I also collect several other ToyLines but I'm not a completist when it comes to these lines. I just pick up whatever catches my eye.
