NINJA TURTLES ADSS

New RPG!

"ADSS" stands for "Alternate Dimension Side Story".

It's basicly a different reality in which Shredder and the Foot exsist, but not the TMNT, Splinter, April, Casey, and other canon and semi canon good guy characters. We play with characters we create and they take the place as the main characters.

I'm actualy planning to throw in some non-player characters I created.

I'll play as my character, "Ryo" (you can check out my character in the "Character Profiles" thread.
If you want your character to know my character in advance (like be from the same dojo), let me know.

I hope this idea will tickle your fancy. ^_^

Ok, cool. I'll play as my character Tyler. Here's a little info on him:

Name:Tyler McDonald

Age: 16

Height: 5' 10"

Weight: 150 pounds

Eye color: Blue

Hair color: Black

Powers: Tyler can manipulate glass much the same way Magneto can manipulate metal. His powers are triggered by anger and once they're triggered he can't control them and pretty much gets another personality.

Bio: Tyler was born and raised in NYC. Professor Xavier discovered this mutant when he was first displaying his powers in public. Xavier offered to help him learn to control his powers and learn to use them without anger triggering them. Xavier told Tyler that ne can see him becoming the most powerful mutant ever. Tyler turned down Xaviers help and decided he wanted to learn to control it himself. Although Tylers powers are very powerful he hasn't seen the extent of his powers.

Of course he'll be different in this one.(No Xavier and he'll be older, etc.) Does that sound ok?

Martial Arts Powers & Abilites

Art of Vanishing - From clear view, even in the middle of combat, Ryo has the ability to simply disappear!
The way it works is resmebles sleight of hand magic trick. Ryo distracts the observer and instantly falls to the ground, rolls to the side, or otherwise vanishes from sight.

Art of Evasion - A technique that requires perfect timing, reflexes and perhaps a bit of precognition intuition.
Ryo can stay out of sight behind the unsuspected individual, turning as the individual turns, constantly trying to stay out of view.

Art of Hiding - Ryo has studied the essential characteristics of all kinds of objects to the a point of being able to be "one" with another object, remaining motionless, and moving imperceptibly when necessary.

Martial Art Awarness - This ability is one of readiness and awareness.
Ryo can never be surprised and always has the initiative. Ryo can sence the presence of others within a few yards away. Ryo can also sense the strength of ki of anyone within range.

Kiaijutsu - The art of disrupting another ones ki with your own, usually associated with the "Kiai yell"; projecting ki from the mouth as a disruptive wave.

Kiko - With concentration, proper breathing and channeling ones life essence, Ryo can focus and manipulate ki. Ryo can generate and restore ki faster, and store more ki than the average person. Ryo can maintain vitality longer than the average person if mortaly wounded or otherwise near death, and can recover from injury quicker with no permanent side effects. Ryo can also manipulate ki in martial arts. Ryo can channel ki into strikes to make blows more devistating, and can bolster endurance and physical feats for short periods of time. Similar to Kiajutsu, Ryo can project ki as a *destructive wave (very exausting technique).

*Ki Bakuha* (ki blast/explotion). A surge of ki projected from Ryo's hands as a long range attack, or flared from the whole body as a short burst attack. It does about 3D6 points of damage. Ryo can do this a few times before being completely exausted.
*Zengaku Ki Bakuha* (total sum ki blast). Like the description above, only this one is a one shot deal. It does about 4D6 + 20 points of damage. This technique will leave Ryo very exausted (all physical feats are halved).

Just a heads up, this alternate reality is not going to be based on any one particular TMNT universe. It will have a few elements from the Mirage universe, old series universe, and new series universe; but it will be a completely new aternate universe.

Oh, and Garou, if you need some help, feel free to ask. There really isn't anything you need to know about the TMNT RPG books. Combat is just discribed out.
I just wrote those numbers down for my character to help give people an idea of what my character's physical, mental and combat stats would be.

Well, I think we may have enough players to start playing now.
New players are always welcomed!

I'll first need to know if any characters here have alliances with each other
(Basicly, are any characters here allies with any characters here?).

Angel sat on the rooftop, looking down at the cars and streets beyond. She sighed to herself, her white wings waving in the breeze, and her reddish hair landing in her face. But she didn't care. All that mattered to her was the same flashback coming again and again inside her head. She didn't notice anything around her, lost in a long trail of thoughts.

"Catch!" Chira said throwing a pizza box to her best friend at a speed that the normal eye couldn't follow. To Inya it was a lazy throw that she caught lazily and got out of the stool and putting the pizza down on the table near her.

"Please enjoy your meal!" she said grinning and returning to her spot at the counter. The rest of the evening progressed as it always did. Both Chira and Inya got extra money from doing a sparring session around ten and the pizza shop closed at ten thirty.

"This is so annoying," Chira sighed and slipped into her coat.

"Why do we work here again?" Inya said while waving goodbye to the owner and holding the door open for Chira.

"Because," Chira said quietly glancing around before both she and Inya slipped into the shadows of an alley and climbed a fire escape. "We're always busy at night fighting the foot and plus... you're the one who never wakes up til ten!"

Inya stuck her tongue out at Chira and jumping onto a nearby roof. It was the usual routine. Wake up at ten after a hard nights work, go to work at the Burger Barn from 12 to 4, rest for a couple hours and then work at Nick's Pizza parlor from 6 to 10 and then kick foot butt until usually midnight if its a busy night.

Chira soon caught up to her friend and they ran neck and neck for a while jumping roofs and glancing down at the city below for any activity by the foot of the Purple Dragons. As they passed one street corner a rooftop came into view and for a second she thought she saw a red orange figure with pearl white wings standing on the roof edge. Shaking her head she dissmised the thought as a hallusination caused by stress and continued running.

Inya saw the same figure and also dismissed it as a hallusination caused by stress and being tired and soon they both dropped into an alley nearby and crouched in the shaddows near a truck.

"Think 'dis is it?" a rough voice said and the girls grinned. Perfect... Hun, just the person they were dying to beat up. Chira nodded to Inya and watched as she dissapeared back into the shadows and Chira stood. Time for plan alpha.

"Hey Hun!" she said grinning as the big guy turned and blinked in confusion but then grinned as he saw who it was.

"Well if it isn't Chiraka," he said cracking his knuckles as foot goons pooled around him and Inya slipped into the group unnoticed.

"Hun," Chira grinned. "When will you learn that there's two of us... and not one?"

Inya then layed four of the twelve foot goons flat and Chira leaped at Hun her naginata already in her grasp. Inya soon joined in beating down the mountain and a while later they stood panting and leaning on the wall and their weapons staring at the moaning foot. Both of them stiffened and looked to the enterance of the alley and saw the outline of the person... well people they didn't want to see.

"Sh**," they muttered and got into a fighting stance eyeing the impossible odds with hatred before letting their gaze rest on Oroku Saki.

OOC:

Ummmmmmm are we combining all the universes? Or is it the old version of the cartoon? If it is and there's no Hun... just substitute in a food comando person. Oh and please forgive spelling errors... i cant spell to save my life
