Anyone seen this yet?

Haven't seen a thread for this yet, feel free to lock if there was one but I missed it.

More variants. And that 'Crashing Mikey' seems to have a ton of articulation. I wonder if it's a regular 5' figure.

It would be nice if playmates spent more time on certain figures, instead of spending that time shelling out...(no pun intended )...a bunch of crappy figures...

These new things are quite dissapointing. I hoped they wouldn't go the path of the old toy line but they are. I couldn't stand all those corny variations that had nothing to do with the show.

rediculous

I can see the guys inspecting the toys and making fun of them.

1 Step Forward, 20 steps back.

I hate rehashes. Everyone knows that. But for some reason, something about those Flight ones look half-way cool...ready for the kick in the nuts? Those aren't $5 figures...those are part of the $10 line. Ouch...

Same thing with that Mikey. I actually think it's part of the 5" line, but not the $5 price point. $10 at least. And I can already see those hand-joints becoming VERY loose, ala the XTreme Fighting...Mikey is probably just a sample, and the other three will be shown soon.

The only saving point in that post? Those spinny things look kinda cool, glad to see the Trikes included in something, but why? What are we supposed to do with these? I wouldn't mind having the whole set, but I have no way to store these. Where is the gratuitious "battle arena" that we'll have to buy to play with these in? I can already see several pet-injuries coming from those spinning blades, too.

Over-all grade: BLAH

More CRAP:

http://toynewsi.com/index.php?catid=20&itemid=4430

Oh, and I see TNI has these listed as Fall '04? Two waves of resculpts back-to-back? I suppose they're getting ready for the holiday season, but DAMN! Lets just try to get the Scuba Turtles cleared out, then we'll worry about restocking, ok guys? Something does look very Image-esque about that Knight Raph, though.

And those weight-lifting Turtles aren't even FUN resculpts...they just look like the original figs with new hands and new (albiet, FEWER!) accessories...

A new vehicle...not bad, but I don't know where it's coming from:

OK, the more I think about this, the worse I'm taking it.

Between now and the end of the year (a short 3 months, folks), we're going to see 8 new $5 turtle figures, 4 new $10 turtle figures, and hopefully a handful of new characters (Foot Mystics, Usagi)? I guess we're just paying for these past couple of waves, and their unique characters.

I'm wondering how long before an organized, POLITE, complaint letter is in need, from the TMNT-adult fanbase? We won't change anything, but maybe we can open their eyes and get a couple of Collector's Edition figs made?

Now that'd be cool...a collectors edition would be perfect...but i think you're right...it'll take some input from the fanbase to get that ball rolling

The Turbo Bashers look like a joke. They look like cheap Happy Meal toys. How mediocre can these varitants get? Playmates might just wanna rethink the production of sucky toys.

And the Foot that fly the Razorjets really do pack parachutes. A silver lining to the cloud, perhaps?

Those "Ripped" turtles are JOKE. It looks like they took the first wave TMNT, and gave them new belts and weapons.

The first wave was SO good, but it all went downhill from there. First the loss of articulation in the main-line figures, and now we're being attacked by variants left and right that are just repacks with new belts. Very dissapointing.

On the bright side, I'll be able to save up for the Sewer Playset finally.

EDIT: Imagine, a typo at 3 in the morning!

Now do you people understand why im quitting this line...i mean sheesh, it started out so cool with the original 7. now their all just cheap made inaccurate toys, cept this scuba turtles (i liked those things)..but if they had a collectors series of turtles i would get them.
