Your FAVE Turtle Toy?

There is many a Turtle Figure collector in this forum. Some are the "NRFB- Never Remove From Box", collector's value-loving types. Others are the "Toys are meant to be played with", give-that-toy-some-air-types. Some are a mix between the two. But whether its value is measured in dollars or in memories, which of your figures is your favorite?

Mine, perhaps, is the original Raphael figure I got - the first TMNT toy I ever received (I'd gotten it for my birthday, along with Bebop and the Footski; some of you remember the latter being driven by The Rat King in TMNT IV: Turtles in Time for the SNES).

Here's a few runners-up (No, that's not "runner-ups"):
-My TMNT Trolls. A freakish mix of two fads. Weird, yet stangely appealing.
-My Mutations figures. Lookie! Regular turtle, Ninja Turtle! Regular turtle, Ninja Turtle! Regular turtle... *Does this for several hours.*
-Some giant stuffed TMNT my dad won at a carnival-esque game at the boardwalk by the beach (I got a Raph and two Leos; they were out of Dons and Mikes)
-Some tiny stuffed TMNT my dad won at the same place (This time I got all four!)
- Storage Shell TMNT. Open it, close it! Open it, close it! Open it, close it... *Does this for several MORE hours.*
- Technodrome. 'Nuff said.
- Movie TMNT figures. All rubbery, and their limbs popped off and reattached so easily! Like Teenage Mutant Potato Heads! Boy, did I mix them up a lot...!

Haha, from the old series, Donatello... he was my fav, and the only one to be one his toes Getting a MOSC card one just endorsed that fact *drools*

From the new series, Donatello... again, he's the only one standing on his toes... and he's my favourite character... yay. I think Playmates is tryin to do some kind of Fan service. Including the fact he's hard to stand >_<

My favorite from the old series would have to be the five inch Krang with his Android Body. That figure is really rad. From the new series my favorite figure is Casey Jones. That figure's really great and rad.

My ultimate favorite is the original Leonardo from 1988, I have like 40 of them now, and I had a lot of em back in the day too.

Old Toys Runners up
All of the 1988 line up
Movie Stars
Toon Turtles
Next Mutation (the show was bad the toys were cool!)
Wacky Action
The secondary characters pre 1990
Sewer Playset
Turtle Van
BLIMP!

New toys runners up
First wave and the battle armor turtles, the rest I could live without

Old series? Probably the Star Trek ones... I don't actually own them currently, but I have a friend who does, and as soon as I have some spare cash, they'll be mine!

New series? That's a tough one... don't have much of the new line... I really want the Toddler Turtles, but I've only seen them in person once, and I didn't have the money at the time. From what I actually have of the new line... Still a tough call. Either Fugitoid or the Triceriton soldier. They're both cool.

Third catagory: Neither series! My Antarctic Press Usagi Yojimbo figures, for sure! I've got the Glow-in-the-dark variant and the Platinum variant, both mint on card. Rock.

LOL, when I was like, 12, I made these paper TMNT dolls... cause I couldn't get any action figs anymore... Turtles were falling out of fad, at the time. I made each turtle with their weapons, and little paper holsters so that I could store the weapons on their backs... And had slits in their hands so that they could actually HOLD the weapons. I made them little skateboards, and a pizza box, and a Foot Soldier for them to beat up, and even the Turtle Van! I played with those probably more then my toys, because I had the whole set... as for my action figs, I only had a Wind up Leo with a rotating arm and a Spaceman Raph.

But, as for actual toys XD ... I like the new line of regular Leonardo. Dunno why, he's not even my face char... but they did a nice job on his fig.

And I like the old toon Foot Soldier fig. It stands funny

Heh heh, I used to do the same thing, with almost any and all cartoon/video game characters I liked; drawing the characters and playing with them like toys. A few were poseable, thanks to some of those little golden pins whose points split open to hold envelopes in place (Good for making parts that spin or rotate). Somewhere, I've got a whole box of 'em that I lamenated so I could use them again and again.

I also discovered how to make my own toys out of felt, hot glue, and cotton (For stuffing). Somewhere I've got a Raphael that can store stuff in his shell and an Earthworm Jim with a detachable, poseable head (It's poseable thanks to a very long twisty-tie in it). Inexpensive, and fun to make!
