I don't know if I'll be online for very much longer (it's 2:20 here now), but sure, if you want to speak about anything, go ahead

yeah, don't cry, i'll talk to ya
'sides, i like pets too....well i never had a squirrel but i had a bunch of hamsters, 2 rats, and 2 other rodents....i think those 2 were guinea pigs.
Now i have a turtle, a dog and a hamster! And i almost lost my turtle the past summer so now i don't take him out.
I guess that gives a new meaning to losing the turtle well actually i didn't lost him, he was just hidden.

out of all the rodents you can have as a pet (i love all rat things!!) squirrels have the best personalities ! they are a lot like people and if you get a good one it will even talk back to you ! mine does you talk to him and he will make sounds back to you! he is so sweet , he stole a piece of my twin sisters bisket and brought it to me and dropped it in my hand .

Squirrels. There's a lot of them on campus, and they like to steal people's food. I've had birds and fish as pets. That's it. I'm starting to seriously think about getting a pet turtle... I talked to HT about it a long while ago on another forum.

Had 2 turtles, both were wild when I found them across the street. I ended up letting bot go. I named them Mike and Raph (original huh) due to the coloring on their neaks

I've never had a pet turtle, and after reading about how much care goes into them, I don't think I should. I think I should go back to snakes, just gotta make sure the feeder supplier doesn't go under this time.

IT TAKES ALOT OF CARE FOR ANY ANIMAL ! BUT AS LONG AS YOU LOVE YOUR ANIMAL YOU WILL ENJOY EVERY BIT OF CARE THAT YOU GIVE IT !

EXEPT FOR LIKE CLEANING UP AFTER YOUR PET SQUIRREL PEES ON YOUR MOUSE PAD ! MY SQUIRREL LOVES TO TYPE ! ONE DAY I WILL LET HIM TYPE SOMTHIN FOR YOU ALL . IM SERIOUS ABOUT HIM LIKING TO TYPE! ALL THE TIME WHEN IM TRYING TO TYPE MY STORIES FOR FAN FIC OR WRITING EMAIL OR WHEN IM TRYING TO TYPE A REPORT HE WILL JUMP AN THE KEY BOARD AND TYPE AND MESS ME ! I END UP HAVING TO ERASE LINES AND LINES OF HIS TYPING !

I think I was in third grade, I was was going home from school with my mom, and a huge freaking Snapping turtle was just sitting on the road. It was on the feeder, most cars where going around it or just stopped, and either I made or my mom just did it on principle and pushed him into the ditch to keep him from being run over. I swear the guy was at leat 1 foot long, but he may have been more, like I said I was young so it may have just seemed big,

Now that would have been a pet, still want to know where s/he crawled out from?

well especially where I live in florida there are many, many ponds around, and when the little ponds dry up or the turtles food supply of fish is all gone they leave their home and go looking for a bigger pond.we see a lot of turtles smashed on the road during dryer months her in florida....people have no concern for turtles on the road here.
