((I wasn't sure that this should be in The Cafe, since it's good news...))

Four weeks without synthroid: Fatigue, cold chills, muscle aches, and mild depression.

Two weeks on a low-iodine diet: No dairy, no sea food, no sea or iodized salt, nothing with preservatives. And one black out.

Thyroid scan: Syringe fed radioactive sugar water and lying completely still for an hour and a half.

Finally getting a clear cancer scan after two years: Priceless!

Now bring on the cake!

i didn't even know you had cancer. congratulations on being cleared of it. I can't say i know how you feel though, but im sure it was all very painful and im just glad you are cured of it.
