Megablok help

Hey guys, it's been awhile since I've collected some TMNT stuff (Got wrapped up in Fantastic Four and the Ghostbusters comic.) and I never got around to grabbing some of the Megablok stuff.

So here are two questions:

1) Is the lair (With all four turtles/Shredder) still readily availible?
2) Has there been any new sets made? Or better yet, any new characters made into Megablok format? *Crosses fingers for Baxter and Casey*

Well, as far as I know they are currently 6 sets of Mega Bloks out now (the Lair, Battle Shell Bridge, 1/4 Pipe (this set contains the Casey you wre lookin for), Radical Ramp, Mutation Garage, and Space Lab). I have still seen the Lair out still, but I don't know if I would call it "readily available". The sets that ARE all over the place are the newest 2, the Garage and Space Lab. Those sets each come with an Elite Guard and a turtle. Unfortunately, there is NOT a baxter figure, only the turtles, Shredder, Foot, Casey, and the Elite. Hope this helps!

As tmnterminator said, the Combat Lair is still available. However, since it has remained unchanged from the previous year, many stores dropped it from their layouts this year. Most of the stores around here are only carring the new sets, the Mutation Garage and Space Lab. Toys R Us does seem to still carry the Lair and Battle Shell.

As for new sets, Mega Blocks seems to do annual releases. The Space Lab and Mutation Garage were the only two released this year. With luck, we may see new sets at the fall Pre Toy Fair in October. But even then, they probably won't hit shelves until December or later. (That of course is assuming that there are new sets.)

I'd like to add that KBToys has all of the smaller sets (every set but the lair) and the 2 new sets all on clearance for around $7 each. Save 6 bucks on each set if you can.

The lair is still extremely easy to find in Canada (and the MegaBloks headquarters is up here) so if you cannot find it... Let me know and I can get you one at price. And we have access to the sets that have Casey in them too...

I'd like to add that KB is having a sale with all their clearanced toys, by 1 get 1 half off. That means if you buy a tmnt set at $7 you can get another for $3.50 making that $10.50 for two sets that cost $14 each at Wal-Mart. GET YOUR BUTTS OVER TO KB RIGHT NOW!

I found and picked up the Lair set at my Toys "R" Us today. They had the Casey set too, but I only have enough to get the Lair set. I gotta say though, this set kicks major ass! The minifigures are my favorite thing about it.
