Muscle & Faith

Anyone knows Muscle & Faith, the online Casey Jones comic by Jeff Bonivert? I always liked Bonivert's unusual and very personal drawing technique and witty storytelling. Plus, when it came out (year 2000), it was the only TMNT related product you could find! I believe it was also the fisrt time someone used the «Michelangelo» spelling, and featured a theme which would be recurrent in future TMNT incarnations : the relation of some TMNT characters with the homeless of New York. I remembered being totally psyched when it came out, so happy to retrieve the green teens after years of nothing (well, there was Image's vol.3 until '99, but it's the one book that made me leave TMNT back then).

Yup. go to http://www.flyingcolorscomics.com
then choose Webcomics from the list on the left side. You'll find M&F and two of Bonivert's own Funboys comic (those one were once published by Eastman's Tundra Publishing way back). The guy also did Mister Monster.

It says that M&F is available for viewing for a limited time, so don't wait 'till the license expires.

As for being official, it may be not part of the Mirage continuity (more for copyright reasons then artistic ones), but yeah, it's a vintage licensed book. It was scheduled to be published by Mirage in the late '90s just before they stopped publishing. One of those rare «lost TMNT» books from that era that managed to get published somehow (Milton Knight's «the Turtles meet the Honeymooners» is still buried somewhere...)
