New Sonic Game (Not Shadow or Rush)

Titled Sonic eXtreme. It's a racing title, and seems like it's trying to be what Sonic R should've been. I dunno what to think yet. Screens and videos to come at a Friday Sega press conference. Comming to all consoles.

Is this that Sonic game I saw the video trailer for (with him racing througha forest, into an abondoned building, battling a bunch of badniks with machine guns and then blasting out the roof)?

Looks pretty cool, though I'd like to have a good 3D Sonic game like the first adventure title (only fixing all the bugs) instead of a racing title.

A Sonic game with massive free-roaming adventure fields would be fantastic. The levels in Sonic Adventure 2 and Sonic Heroes were pretty much just race tracks, anyway.

No, I think that's the Shadow game.
