Does somebody know if the 1987 Season was shown in Germany?

He,
i can't remember to have seen one of this episodes The discriptions of these 5 episodes sound very interesting - but i think they were never broadcasted here

Today the Turtles returned in FreeTv but it started with "Return of the Shredder".

Does somebody know if i always missed these episodes, or if their are no German translations of it?

Season 1 did air in the UK, but in Germany I don't know. But if you have a player that can play the american vhs there was the FHE volumes Heroes in a half shell (1-2) Hot Rodding Teenagers (4-3) and Shredder is Splintered (5-6) which covers the first season.

NTSC should be no problem for my VCR - the bigger problem will be to find these Tapes (Amazon.de - dosn't sell it) - but I will look for them

Worse still, the first five episodes, which introduce all the main characters and are generally regarded as being the best of the lot, were never shown on British television at all. The BBC leapt straight into showing season two, so that much of what went on made absolutely no sense to anybody. It was, in short, a complete mess.
Thé guy who wrote that article says It didn't and he Lives in UK I think.

Alright so sue me, the vhs "How it all began" exists in the UK which is just the UK version of "The Epic Begins" And if your looking for the vhs check ebay or half, they're your best chance.
