TMNT 3 or Next Mutation

I think there are two TMNT universes that are widely hated for their uncommon hilarity in our little fan community (damn, it rhymed!). These are:

* TMNT 3
* Next Mutation

Surprise - both of them are live shows

Don't tell us why they are so bad in general. Tell us which of them is worse than the other one and why.

Next Mutation was way worse then TMNT 3, and TMNT 3 really isn't that bad, after watching it recently I have more respect for it, the turtles fight with their weapons, and Don's lines come off as pretty funny...oops...anyways why TMNT:TNM was worse?

Lets see....

Well TMNT was a live action movie NM was a live action TV series, I guess it was worse for having even worse costumes, inclusion of a fifth female turtle, ummm stupid villains, bad story's, cheesy theme song, bad fight scenes re-used footage?

Anything else?

TMNT 3 was the last straw when the TMNT's fandom was fading, NM failed to resurrect it.

Exactly....TMNT 3 sooo trumps NT:TNM for the shere fact that it's just made better and far more amusing. Enough said.
EDIT!!! WHOOPS Guess you should read the poll before you vote...I voted for the better one..

I agree with you guys. TMNT III was pretty bad... but TNM was total and complete crap.

I would go into explaining myself, but Weapon X pretty much stole the words right out of my mouth.

Honestly, I liked the third movie. It was pretty cool to have the original voice of Don return, as well as Casey Jones. Heck, I remember when I saw it in the theatre... it was nice, except for the fact that the projector crapped out fairly close to the end.

Exclamation

I liked TMNT 3 much better than Next Mutation, Venus = worst idea!!
anyway i thought NM was more focused on goof and comedy, where TMNT needs both action and comedy

I hate TMNT 3. Mainly they're so lame looking thanks to all creatures effect...they ruined them for me. Raph was OOC too much. His impromptu hissy fit in the bigenning was unfounded, he doesnt flip out for no reason all of a sudden. ugh..

I can stand TNM better. Raph's mannerisms and behavior is more accurate. And it's downright FUN TO MAKE FUN OF IT! Especially Venus Flytrap... Get past the corniness and there's a few pretty amusing scenes and some good scenes between Raph and Leo. But most of it ya gotta laugh off cause it's just that, CORNY!!

The Next Mutation was utter crap. Probably because it was made by the people who created Power Rangers? TMNT III isn't all that bad.

Power Rangers In Space, the season from 1998 (the season in which the TMNT crossed over with them) at that point contained issues of mind-alteration, child abduction, and even assisted suicide with Zordons' death, so no, The Next Mutations' failure had more to do with who was writing it, not who was producing it.

I was thinking...What if the costumes of the third movie were the same as in part 1 or 2, maybe 50% more of us would have liked it.
For me it would help a lot to like this movie. Still I don't really like the story. Turtles going to Japan...I prefer they stay in New York.

Next Mutation is by far the worst of the two, definitely. I'd watch TMNT III a thousand times over rather than watch the NM with Leo who sounded continuously constipated, Raph's locked open mouth everytime he went out on his bike, probably the most irritating version of Mike going, and Don's bloody turtlefied certified eye in the sky thingy.

Next Mutation stunk compared to TMNT 3 because of the female turtle. Bad move.

TNM is the only version of TMNT that I can say I hate, they ruined Mikey! They made me dislike my favorite character, that's NOT good!

I can't believe I wasted my money on those crappy dvds...and now I'm stuck with them because they're region 2 and TNM so no one will want them.

What the hell was I thinking?

As for TMNT movie 3; I still love it even though the costumes stank and the writing was pretty bad during some points. It was my first TMNT movie, plus it was Mikey-centric, how could I possibly dislike it?

the fact that TNM had a crossover with the powerrangers is what warns me of the terror, im surprised the turtles never found a way to morph.
