I try to connect to irc, but then i get this error message:

I understand they have to make the server more secure because of the DOS attacks, but this is ridiculous, i can't even log in!
I don't even have the damn thing (I tried installing identd but it was a dos program which i do not understand, me dumb..)
Sooo...anyone knows what i could do about this?deathknight?anyone?

Edit: and if you're wondering why it says krang, well the whole point of connecting was to identify my 3 tmnt nicknames (krang, ratking and karai) so that they wouldn't go unregistered...but i can't even login so bleh

I should stop using dal net and choose another more stable network..

I'm not smart enough to actually help you... but I think identd is already installed in Mirc.

'Kay, thanks...I'll have to either try around 'till i configure identd right, or just change to another server.

yay solved it, i only had to change the port number.
