eBay sellers really becoming a**holes?

So lately I've seen those Mech Wreckers all over eBay, and not ONE of them is listed at it's retail price ($20). Hell weren't these things just on sale for like $15 around Black Friday? So why are people bidding up to $90 for these things on eBay?

I saw a Donatello Mech Wrecker listed at $90 opening price, and there was a bid on it

I mean if you're going to pay more than it's worth why not bid on the Mech Wrecker Donatello that was listed for $35 buy it now? I just don't get it, especially since these things are readily available at Wal-Mart at a discounted price.

Besides the fact that they're not even that cool, they're pretty boring/bland. I saw another one bid up to $25 with a few hours left. C'mon people just GO OUTSIDE. I guess sometimes it's not the sellers fault, but when the opening price is $90 for a $20 toy, that's just outrageous.

These are finished auctions:

Check this one out:

Glad no one went for this crap:

Pathetic:

There's tons more, but I think you get the idea.

Actually maybe this will work, it's a search for finished mech wrekkers auctions, this way you can see them all without having to click each link:
