Howdy do all. Jester here again. Watching my OT TMNT DVD's (all 3 volumes)and I noticed that almost everyone has an error so with the power of DVD screencaping I thought we could do an list of errors by screen cap...for voice errors...we may have a problem...here we go, let the fun begin.

EDIT: And now the first error ever in TMNT, the first in a long line. Episode one...Donnie talks as Raph
Uhuhuh...did I miss something here? Ain't you up on current events lady? We just saved your life!

No way! You put us on TV and every scientist in town will be after us!


also in the first episode:


One of Leo's swords is still on the roof...here he still has both.

[Weapon X]

Enter the Shredder.


Leo speaks in Raph's voice, "I don't think were in Kansas anymore Uncle Todo."


Mike makes an alarming grunt that sounds just like Raph.


This ones hard because we se the back of both heads but the line "Great more trouble" comes out in Raph's voice, but Leo's head moves in a suggestive way.


Bebops yellow vest.


Leo's colores red.


This is obviously Raph kicking Bebop....now check this next cap....


Right after it happens Raph rolls towards Rocksteady from the front, where Bebop just fell out of shot.

A Thing About Rats:

Raph's belt has no ties.


Maybe a mistake...Mikey's arm, but Donnie's voice. (Though Donnie could be reading over Mikey's shoulder)


Donnie says, "So if there are hundreds of them now." but it's Mikey who speaks.


Raph is colored blue


Mikey is driving, but April should be, Donnie talks with Raph's voice (it's a recycled clip...so duh...)

[Sewer Bull]

Mutagen Monster



The monster bull is created from two bulls. Let's watch it altogether:



BTW - he looks more canine than bovine in my opinion.

BUT! After having been treated with an atom smasher



the mutagen monster morphs into...





three cows and one bull!

I don't get that cartoon science.

I know Vegita-san....and I've often looked through them, but some times I get errors....
X has Hot Rodding Teenagers...I'll let him post later. Here are the ones I found in "Shredder is Splintered" or "Shredded and Splintered" *shrugs*


Mikey's wrist bands are green, not orange


Leo is red


Donnie pays the guys a visit...er...Raph is accedentally purple


This had to be animated, Donnie and Raph's bandanas switch colors.


Krang's noes is grey


The de-mutated punk is now re-mutated and in this pin with the other "only seen in the pilot" mutants...and Shredder always said he wanted an "Army of Mutants" why not use the other punks?


More a continuity error, Donnie just finished re-wiring the portal...and now we see him tangling with Krang and Shredder, and Where's Michaelangelo?

"Mean machines".





The voices of the bank robbers switch between these scenes, although only the blond speaks in the second.


Leo says "Did you have to use the "D" word" in Raphs voice, although, that sounds like something Raph would say.


Mikey is sitting next to Raph....


In the next shot he's gone all together, and Raph says "Shredders got control of it" in Leo's voice.


Now look at there positions after the commercial break.


"Keep your eyes open Turtles.", Leo's mouth doesn't move.


Obvious.



Ok, there's two Raph's and one Don, the front Raph speaks in Don's voice and loses the red from his bandanna.

"That's it April..." Leos mouth never moves.


Mike is shown eating pizza.


Then with robot.

Attack of the 50 Foot Irma:


The modual door is blown off...and also still on the modual.


Mikey speaks with Leo's voice


The enlarging ray is not seen.


Leo's driving the van...Don uses a grapling hook to stop it...but in this shot they are reversed.


Raph uses his sais to pin the cables, but...

when he's next seen they are back in his belt.


I think this was intentional to see if you saw it....Raph's belt on backwards.

Mikey is seen in the passengers seat....

Cut back and it's Raph...

when the guys aproach Irma, Don comes not from the back where he worked on the capsule but the driver's side front. Leo, who was driving earlier is now in the back passenger's side and Raph who was in the back alone and seen eariler in the passenger's side comes out the driver's side

and a bonus non-mistake:

Shredded's gotta big head...

"Killer Pizza's"

Ok, I admit some are more then simple color errors, but I'm going for anything that appears weird.


Shredders overly big blades on his wrist gauntlet.


We see Don standing next to the machine here.


Next shot it's Raph.


Those are slash marks?


Raph: "I can practically smell him." His mouth doesn't move.


Raph with purple gear.


April is talking to Leo on cordless phone, Leo is using Turtle Com in next shot.


Previous shot Leo talks, now Raph talks with Leo's swords.


Seconds earlier Mike and Don jump off as "Turtle Assault Team", leaving Leo still driving and Raph. Leo lands and the close up shows Don instead of Leo.

Raph replaces Mikey inside.


Mikey has Leo's swords.


Image on tv screen shows camera man running with them.


Leo's holding Swords.


Next shot, he's not.


We hear Raph, but see Mike, Mikes head bobs alittle.


Previous shot was Leo tackling Shredder out of the way, then shows Raph with Leo's voice, it remains Raph after.

We should do a post of often occuring mistakes....like April's morphing Turtle com...sometimes it's like the guys', sometimes it's like a compact...Shredder's neck...sometimes purple, sometimes flesh toned....Bebop's ponytail....sometimes purple often brown.

Also how the guy's have weapons, and in a split second they disappear.

Those are really good you guys do pay a lot of attention to the details ... you forgot to mentions that on some caps they seem to be melting too, but thats just bad animation

While watching April, Leo and Don are seen with their weapons, after the tv signal is lost, in a matter of 20 frames in witch nothing happens their weapons disappear.

In "Return of the Technodrome", when Rocksteady charges inside the control room (where Donatello is messing with wires), he's literally "yellow-bellied", no, I don't mean afraid, I mean that his stomach is the same color as his shirt.

Also from "Return of the Technodrome."



Don's wrist bands disappear and reappear throughout the whole episode.


Krang's robot body's feet are flesh colored rather then red, but there are red rings.


While running, Don says "If we don't get away, were "Turtle Toe jam".", Next shot show Leo and Mike, Mike replies "Like how man.....?".


Leo pulls out a turtle com and says in Don's voice, "Watch and learn".

I've sooo gotta do a gif of one scene from Return of the Technodrome...it's classic...

EDIT: Ok...I slowed it down so you can see it...it's almost frame by frame...Donnie's wrist band comes and goes 2 times in this 10 second clip...


Imagine trying to cap images of wrist band on wrist band off.... it's take 3 or 4 posts.
