New toys are in stores NOW!!!!

Aaaah! I'm so excited! I visited the toy department at work today and found the new action figures! My store (Wal-mart) is selling them for $5.83 each. There were no Splinters, Shredders, or Footsoldiers, just the turtles. (I suspect that those three are being released a little later, has anyone seen photos of them carded yet?)

We had 4 Leos, 2 Raphs, 2 Dons, and 1 Mike out on the shelf. I suspect that we had put out the contents of a case of 12, so 3 had been sold before I discovered them.

The figures are GREAT! They stand well, they're well articulated, nicely detailed, well packaged, weapons are cool, I am absolutely thrilled with them! I think I'll take a picture of them next to the old figures and upload it to my site. I'll post the link when I do that.

You left-coasters always get the toys first!!
We won't see those on the right-coast for 2 to 4 weeks based on how long it takes new TFs to get here.
Maybe Playmayes will have bettter distribution methods than Hasbro.

If they don't come to argentina, i'm definitely not ordering em.
But if they do and are in stores i might get a couple if they aren't too expensive, maybe i'll score some interesting bootlegs too there are a lot of those over here...but that'll only happen if the series is a big hit i guess.

Hopefully that happens. Many things rely on the success of this cartoon and toyline.

Hah.. and here I was looking in all the wrong places! TRU and KB Toys don't have them. I did notice on the TMNT Mirage site last night, Dan said the Walmart Arizona has them as well.

But I wonder, does even a redneck city like mine have these yet? I'll have to see toniiiight!

So did you buy all the toys from the Woodburn Walmart or the Mall205 Walmart

Personally I'll wait for them to come out to Target or one of the other stores before I shop at Walmart.

He probably didn't have enough room for it in the picture there, but I love how he lined up the original action figures right infront of their 21st Century counterparts. That's what I wanna do with mine once I get them!

I work at the ghetto of Wal-marts, Eastport Plaza on 82nd. The only store actually in Portland's city limits. I appreciate your non-patronage. The only reason I shop there is the discount and the convenience. (I'm too tired after work to go anywhere else.)

Ahem. I'm a she.

I bought two each of Don, Leo, and Raph, but we only had one Michelangelo. Not knowing when I'd find my second one, I didn't want to wait to open the package. I've still got the card though, and the nifty little logo on the front of the package comes right out...I'm thinking about sticking them up on my door or something.

questions for skeletoncrew,
Are the really poseable?
Is there a place to put there weapons in their belt?
And the most important, do they look like their new cartoon counterparts?

I have taken some more photos showing card backs and turtle backs...but I have to leave for work in a few minutes, so they won't all be uploaded until later.

All of them have places on their belts for weapons. Raph's aren't in a very good place, they're right under his arms.
As you can see, the sai isn't quite in there the way it should be. I couldn't get it to go through the second hole it was supposed to go through.

I feel that they're quite poseable, though their legs are only jointed at the hips.

That's all for now! I'm going to be late for work!
