Obscure Old TMNT reference in New

With my luck, this was posted about 7 weeks ago, and I'll have a bunch of people on my shell, but I just watched The people's choice for the first time, and Mike makes a reference to 3 obscure Old toon characters. When Jhonna's android thing is about to attack the Turtles, Mike tries talking to it, with some weird alien language, he says "Klatu, Barada, Nikto" which are the names of the three aliens from the Season 3 Episode "Invasion of the Turtle Snatchers." Just thought I'd pass that along.

Naw I really love how they honor the old toon by mentioning it on the new cartoon. If it wasn't for the orignal cartoon- we'd never have this new one.

I love where Mikey is dancing and singing,"Go Ninja- Go Ninja"

then the 1 ep where his mask got cut and it was short like the way the orignal toon turtles looked

Flash fact: "Klaatu Barada Nikto" is a line from The Day the Earth Stood Still. A couple of movies and shows over the years (probably most notably Army of Darkness) have referenced it.

I do love it when they reference the original toon, though. It never fails to make my heart flutter with nostalgia.

Yeah DH just summed up what I was going to say. It's been used in alota things. It's more of a Sci-Fi refrence.

Damn... someone beat me to the Army of Darkness reference. In the Day the Earth Stood Still, I do believe that the words he says are the only words that can shut the robot down.

How about another Triceraton invasion, and in it, they use their own new veichle: The Technodrome.
