2D Fighting Game Fan Project
Hi everybody!
I'am working on an 2-D Fighting Game witch is based on the MUGEN engine. The sprites I've got from games Like Turtles in Time or Hyperstone Heist or GBA Turtles 1&2... Until now 2 Characters are finished... Will take a lot of time until its ready... (cause i am working on a STAR WARS Game too) In the end this Game will have about 16-20 Characters: each one has 3 Basic Attacks + 2-3 Spezial Attacks. BUT DONT EXPACT TOO MUCH!I AM NO CODING GENIUS! (BTW sorry for bad English... I am German) enough talked here some screens: the next Character i'll make: |

Yeah, I've been playing a Mugen-based Teenage Mutant HERO Turtles game. It's really good, the author even created his own unique super combo moves. I don't know what game's sprites he used, but it wasn't Tournament Fighters. Still, I play it every week. He did a good job creating the backgrounds and whatnot.
I'm looking forward to this one! Looks to be even more entertaining!

Hi everybody! It's long time ago since I postet here + gave infos for my project... since it was on hold for a long time, but will work on on it.
The BG is moving, and the char selector is a moving mouser. here you are: here some screens: Since some Character come from other games than "Turltles in time(SNES Version)" they look different from their spritestyle. So I had the idea to give those Chars less detail. As an Example I did that on Ray, I tried to give him less detail so he looks more like the Turtles in Time Chars: Another example is Tastsu. I made his colors much brighter an took away some details. He comes from the Genesis Version of Turtles in Time which sprites are much darker and a little bit more detailed than the SNES version. What do think of it? |

This is awsome...really really cool stuff.
I'll need some info on how to run this on my xbox if anyone out there can help me out with that. When do you expect to have a version 1.0 with some characters finshed? |

Looks cool, I love mugen games!
Are you going to allow this mugen game to have a 2 on 2 fighting option? I sometimes prefer to watch the computer play itself and settle those "who would win?" questions. Also, have you thought about including Splinter and April as hidden characters? Super Shredder could be one as well. |

Looks neat. How exactly do these games work? I've heard about Mugen before, but is each one it's own separate game?

Looks cool, I've yet to play a working MUGEN game but if this works it'd be awesome. What ever happened to that guy remaking the old Arcade game?
EDIT: Ah here it is http://www.jsofts.com/tmntengine/ I see the project has been abandoned. |

That's a nice big cast of diverse characters...It made me think of what it'd be like if the tmnt was a fighting arcade game before all else, and this is what the roster looked like...interesting perspective hahah.
