"Für Elise" played on a scanner

I just found the most awesome abuse of computer equipment ever. And no, they're not destroying anything. Some guy(s) have managed to make their scanner play music. It now plays "Für Elise" by Beethoven.

Sounds incredible, huh?

I am amazed...

EDIT: Thanks to DH for correcting me.

That's pretty damn awesome. I'd never seen that done with a scanner before.

Printers however, if you've got an HP 5PSE Printer or HP Scanjet, you can get it to play Ode to Joy. And the old IBM 1403 from the 70s would play a myriad of songs if only you touched it and caressed it the way you would the bosom of a beautiful woman.
