Any of you ever met any TMNT artists?

Hi! first off i'd like to say i'm a newbie, so hi! i'm a 22 year old guy from scotland and was wondering if anybody's met any of the tmnt artists?

being from scotland, and not being very rich in that i can fly to every comic convention, i aint gonna get alot of chances to meet any, but i have met D'israeli, who did tales #10, and a frontispiece for another tales... he is a friend of the owner of a comicbook shop i go to regularly in aberdeen, and the first time i met him he was just hanging out and showing Mike, the owner some of the stuff he was working on on his laptop. i went in and mike, knowing that i'm a turtle fan (he holds back all the comics for me and sometimes finds me some cool stuff) said to me that there's someone he'd like me to meet and ushered me over to meet D'israeli. i had'nt even heard of this guy, and he opened up a file on his laptop and there was a page from Tales #10 - this was around the time of tales #5 or 6 (I cant remember but it was the day the comic came out and D'israeli had just dome a letter heading of splinter which he's signed for me, just a speechbubble with his sig - so that'll be a clue, i dont have the comic in front of me...) - and i hadnt even an inkling of what was to come, and it showed Don on a computer with the 'pi' golem lying on a table ( i cant remember what page this was)! i was well excited! meeting a TMNT artist just out of the blue, not even at a signing!
Anyway, he gave me a sketch of Donatello which i was pretty well made up about, as you can imagine! since then i've met him at the comic shop again (asylum books and games its called), this time at a signing and he gave me a splinter sketch, which is pretty awesome, its of him meditating, legs crossed, the lot! then just before christmas, mike said to me that d'israeli would send me a high quality print of a page from tales #10 (i cant get original artwork cos its all digitally done...) so i got page 10 (counting from when the story starts, missing the intro) where Don somersaults over the Golem! its awesome! cost me 30 bucks like...

so anyway, sorry this is so long, but i've been wanting to share this with fellow tmnt fans for awhile now! cheers!

I met Peter Laird, Jim Lawson, Michael Dooney, Eric Talbot, and Dan Berger. They were all really cool, especially Peter Laird. Michael Dooney was a real dick though.

One of the other boards I post on is frequented by one of the new show storyboard artists. (well, when they are not working) He has shared some of his sketches with us (I saved a few from I, Monster that were really sweet!)

He is a really nice and interesting guy to talk to

I've actually met Peter Laird at a comic convention and got him to autograph two TMNT comics... one of which was issue #1 of the latest Mirage series! Man, wish I'd had a portfolio of my art to show him...
