Retro-Playback's "TMNT Comic Spotlight"

Hey guys,

If you've got some time on your hands, why not check out my site (http://www.xanga.com/retro_playback/), and more specifically the first two installments of a little gem I like to call the "TMNT Comic Spotlight". Enjoy, and tell me what you think!

Why no comments or suggestions? Oh well, I hope at least some of you TMNT fans out there enjoy these tributes -- I really enjoy doing them. And if not, I'd appreciate it if you'd reply and tell me how I could improve my reviewing skills for the next installment. Thanks...

In any event, for those of you who are interested, here's #3...

Because you generally reviewed an adaptation of the first five episodes and not the best part of Archies' run, their own ORIGINAL work on the franchise.

Well, to each his own, my friend. I can understand your point of view, but on the flip side, I'm fairly certain you'll like where I'm going with the Spotlight in the weeks to come, as we move onto Mirage Volume 1 and Tales of the TMNT. Plus, Archie fans won't be left out in the cold, either.

Thanks for replying.

I like those issues. I like the line they added with April squeezing down the drain, saying to herself that she's putting on weight. Considering how narrow a space she was trying to fit through you'd expect some sort of remark about her figure.

That's a nice review, right there. I found nothing in there to disagree with, and I always get happy by default when people spread the word about how the Turtles started. The old toon was indeed awesome, but this is another side of the TMNT that should not be forgotten or ignored.
