Kevin Clash on Oprah?

Today as I watched Oprah they announced that she was going to show the person behind no other but Elmo from sesame street (which I always think he's rather annoying) anyways when the guy came out It was none other but kevin clash the guy that did the puppeteering and voice of splinter on the TMNT movies I never in a million years would have thought that he was Elmo, they talked about how he is now the highest paid puppeteer ever and stuff cause of Elmo. I guess this just caught me by surprise...

the more you know..

I knew he played Elmo and Splinter, but it was still nice to see what the guy looked like.

He's so young (he must have been in his 20's when he played Splinter!), and seemed to be a really nice guy too.

Wouldn't it be great if he voiced Splinter in the new movie? (I think he was the best voice for that character)

it was very nice he's one of the best out there he's been doing puttes on tv since the 70's for henson and many others he's a great guy!
I always find it funny how no one ever mentions how baby dinosaur from the dinosaurs and elmo are basicly the same character. oh well lol...
I do wish he was on the show longer...the other parts where just glorifying Oprah more....and giving her more free things because shes rich...

No, I was kinda hoping for that too but he only got to talk for like 5 seconds about his job...then Oprah went to commercials, came back, and glorified the stupididty of rich people some more (They call that crap fashion? Who in their right mind buys that unflattering junk? The shoes weren't that bad though...but I still think it's insane how much money people blow on shoes!)

I don't pay much attention to Oprah, but my mom does. She probably saw Kevin Clash on there if she watched it yesterday. Kevin did great voice work for Splinter in the movies and his puppet work was great. Besides Frank Oz, this guy is one of my favorite puppeteers.

Kevin Clash is fabulous. As a result, Elmo is nowhere near as annoying as he has the potential to be (he still annoys me!).

heh... I keep reading the title of this thread as "Kevin Clash an Orphan." I can't read.
