What should've happend after season 8

Just thought I'd settle this dispute. Personally, I think the series should've ended.

I think they should've done Red Sky with Shredder and co, mainly because if they went with that story line, we wouldn't have to deal with all the lame mutations...

I liked how they went beyond the extremes in Season 8 (destorying channel 6 building, etc). They could have done more with Shredder. The only thing I didn't like was all the aliens. And the ending of the show (season 10) was really disappointing. It wasn't a series ender...!

The only red-sky ep I liked a whole lot was "Cyber Turtles" wheras the rest of that season was kind of oddball.

Ditto!!
I loved that ep tho...the rest of those 3 seasons was strange specially the last 2
But now that i remember, the turtles have their hulk-like mutations in the last seasons, so now the more reason for liking the latest seasons for me...that's probably one of the only few things i liked about those seasons tho but i still wouldn't change anything.

Everything should have been a dream (season 1-10) by one of them and had them be in some kind of Mutant on Human war, All mutants on earth are a result of ooze that rained from the sky with no real explnation. The TMNT are a special unit ment to take out problems with in the Mutant nation. 2 female Mutants are on their team (Ninjara & Mona Lisa maybe) and Splinter is really a battle hardned comander who leads them from their base and pretty much is the brains behind the operation. Aprils a double agent, able to mutate on command from Human to Cat-Mutant, a sorta allie to the TMNT unit, she has some degree of loyalty to them and they know she can mutate, but when evr they are together all are causious of a double cross. Shredder is the Leader of the Humans tring to kill off all Mutants in the name of Planety purity, only to discover that Shredder is really Krang in disciese. The guys wage a war on him through mostr of the second season gaining allies on both Human and Mutant sides (Carter, Casey jones, Irma[Amazon like form], Rat King, Rocksteady and Baxter Stockman for the humans and Mondo, Slash, Leatherhead and one of the Frogs.) Later we find out that Krang released the ooze to start a war between mutants that would arise and the Humans till both sides had killed each other and he could strip the planet of its resourses. In the end they all strike krangs strong hold and defeat him, only to in the end have the entire show also turn out to be a dream of either one of the TMNT, a human child with TMNT stuff in his/her room, or one of the creators the night after they first came up with the TMNT idea.

Quite an imagination. But it wouldn't have fit the theme of TMNT. Of course the cartoon never really did...

Well its more a reimaging of them. Its not like they weren't getting wierd, and it would have brought people in, just to see how weird it would have been. The Guys still would have been ninjas, and they would have done more at night in the shadows, political assinations and the like. Basicly blending what they did in the show with a darker edge (sorta like Satam Sonic). The guys would have remaned more or less the same, Mike would be more reserved, Don more practical in his machines, Leo more a team leader with a willing ness to leave the others to accomplish the mission. Raph could really go 1 of 2 ways either really dark and brooding, near phyco level or make him very cautious and sota tramatised, maybe both and have him be a sorts split personality. They all would need some degree of battle damage Raph needs to be missing his eye, maybe go and have don be semi-machine, scars on others. Mabe have ninjara/splinter missing some of her/his ear. Basicly the idea is to get peoples attintion, and get them back by blending odd elements togther and make a version of the TMNT no one had yet seen. Yes it would have been hard to do both with copyright restricions and with censors but if done right it would make the guys somethime they had never been before. And if done right could intigrate elements of ninjistu and drama that they couldn't do up to that point due to how the show was set up. (they got away with some heave stuff in the SatAM Sonic cartoon, so it can be done)

Like Ultimate TMNT. They're doing that with quite a few comics nowadays. It would make a kick-ass fan fic, though.
