Need help identifying an old comic...

Hey guys, I've been wondering for a while about an old TMNT comic I used to have a while back, when I was but wee lad. I've been trying to find it in the comic archive at http://www.ninjaturtles.com/, but it eludes me thus far...

I owned this particular book many years ago, so unfortunately I have no idea what it was called, but I do remember it was in colour, not black in white. It also sported a distinctive art style that seemed a little alien to my young eyes, which were accustomed to the poofy, bubbly Ninja Turtles from the cartoon. I also remember it featured the Turtles in some baron, snow-filled land, and I remember they were searching for some sort of small talisman. (I seem to remember it was green -- though I could be mistaken.) Unfortunately, I don't really remember anything else about the particular issue...

If anyone has any idea which comic this is and what volume it belongs to, I'd really be interested in finding out. Thanks!

Did you check the Archie lists (I think there's more than one)?

The only two colored TMNT comic lines that I am aware of are Vol. 2 and the Archie stuff. Some of the Archie art varied a little (so they may have looked less poofy).

it's from archie it consisted of 3 issues which replaced the forever war and it really ticked me off...then the series got the can.

Wow, thanks man...Finally, my search is over!

Mind you, I hadn't been losing any sleep over it, but once in a while it popped into the back of my mind, y'know; more often than not, while watching the Turtles on TV. Thanks a bunch!

But, if you don't mind me asking, why did it tick you off? And were these the last Archie TMNT comics produced??

I really want those three issues, I read the summary for them and they sound great! (anyone know where I could find them?)

As for the Forever War, what is it exacally? Isn't Mirage going to finish it?

your welcome it just ticked me off because I was really into the Archie series and I was so mad the series got cancled then we get these issues that have nothing to do with the series at all...it wasn't a bad story but it was just really out there and none of the bad guys who are in the comic with shredder had never been seen before.
