Shell Shock and Challenges

Anyone have these?

Are they good?

I saw Challenges on the official site's buy it area and am thinking of getting it, but would like to know if it's worth it.

Where would I find Shell Shock?

I have them both.

Challenges is pretty forgettable. It contains like 3 short stories, which are more jokes than anything else. The only cool thing about my copy is that it's autographed by Michael Dooney!

Shell Shock is awesome if you can find it. It collects about 15 short stories, some of which are canon (a prequel to the Complete Carnage and Radical story, etc.). Good luck finding it though, because it's VERY rare. I suggest checking ebay.

Challenges is awesome. You should definitely get it. It has six short stories.

1) "Origin" - The turtles are at the farm.While looking for Raph, Leo checks a storm drain and remembers the past.

2)"Splinter"- At the farm. In the middle of training his sons, Raph decides he doesn't want to do any more. Splinter shows his rebellious son that he can still kick some butt!

3) "Raphael"- Raph is being chased by the Foot. Outnumbered, he seeks refuge in an alley and runs into a blind old woman.(They used this story in the new TMNT episode)

4)"Michelangelo"-While out enjoying nature, Mikey has to take care of a couple of poachers.

5)"Leonardo"- A look at why Leo trains so hard.

6) "Donatello"-Donny fights his way through a world of robots and mazes. His goal to reach a castle and become champion.

I think both are pretty great. For the "hardcore" TMNT fiction collectors, ya gotta get them both. Challenges is pretty easy to find.

Shell Shock is pretty rare, here's how I got mine - I put it on my want list at mycomicshop.com

. I got it for a whopping $10. I left it on my want list for curiosities sake, and I haven't seen it reappear in like 2 years. But it's got all kinds of fun shorts in it.

I've been looking for Shell Shock for a loooong time. Everytime I see one up for sale on eBay, I never have any money.

Yea, if you have the money for just 1 of them, definately go with Shell Shock...i picked mine up at a comic convention in a bin for around $5..and in pretty good shape too!! I seen them pop on eBay pretty regularly though so you might wanna stop by there...

I wanna find Challenges, I used to have it eons ago ...but lost it. (never mind im gettin one) Somehow I've hung onto my Shell Shock book, one book I won't part with. Nobody would want it, it's no where near mint; it's been thru alot
