some new info about Fast Foward

I do not know even anyone has heard about recent info about Fast Forward but I went searching on the web.

This is what I got

In the upcoming sixth season of the series, the storyline will leap 99 years into the future under the subtitle Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Fast Forward. The lighter and funnier-than-ever series... is set to bow 26 stand alone episodes in September 2006 on 4KidsTV." I have a feeling that this will be a combination of the old series and the 2003 series.

I don't know if this "lighter and Funnier" thing will be a good thing or a bad thing.

Whatever it is it sure as shell isn't the dark bleak "Blade runner type" future I was thining of.

The info is fairly old, but then the concepts behind Fast Forward are also very old.

This could have been Phantom 2040 or Aeon Flux, but it's going to be The Zeta Project

According to the official website, the first 3 episodes of Fast Forward will be shown on July 29th...this is just a little sneak peek. The same three episodes will be shown again starting September 9th, which is the official launch date of Fast Forward.

Atleast it mentioned it'll be a 26 episode season like the previous ones.

I'll check out that sneak peak thing in july.

By then I should have all the recent DVD volumes

I got into the habbit back in 1992 or 93' when I was little. I would like to thank my 2 year older cousin for getting me in the habbit. 2001 was when I revised my knowledge on TMNT. And today I'm a bigger fan than I was years ago. I have all 3 TMNT Movies, current Toon, and old school Toon on DVD.

Wow, that's pretty neat -- after all this heated debate about the future of the series, I can't wait to actually see it for myself!

Cool beans! I guess the reason they want to preview them is to see if they get much interest. Though I really rather see the rest of the ninja tribunal, this "fast foward" series is also worth seeing.

Ditto, buddy. At least we'll get to see the Ninja Tribunal on DVD later this year -- so we're getting the best of bost worlds.

I forgot to mention that this sneak peek is only in the USA, at least according to the official website. I may be in the USA but it kinda stinks for any fans outside of the USA.

One of the FF writers has come forward (no pun intended) with his opinion (he's a major TMNT fan too!)

From Comics Continuum:

Quote:
Steve Melching has written two more episodes of The Batman animated series for next season. He also wrote two episodes of the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series.

"I've been a Turtles fan since the original B&W comics back in the mid-1980s, so it was a treat to finally get to write for them," Melching told The Continuum. "I think it'll be a fun show."
Here's what Steve Melching looks like (he's cute! )

Some of the stuff he's written in the past:
X-Men, Power Rangers, He-Man (the Cam Clarke series), M.I.B, Avengers, Beast Machines, Jackie Chan Adventures, Extreme Ghostbusters and Godzilla...among others
