It's weird

It's weird that in the old show the Turtles got older. In the new show the turtles look the same. Why is that. Please tell what you think about it.

Ps if this is on here then sorry

They didn't really show age with the old show. But there wasn't consistant animation and in the last years they retooled the animation style entirely making the show more edgy. The new show always had an edgy look and doesn't have inconsistant animation styles.

Exactly. The first 3 seasons the art fluctuates. By season 4 the art tends to stableize until 7-10 where the TMNT gets the Red sky over haul.

Allthough they may not look it, the TMNT have aged. They were 15 when the new series started, but theyr'e 16 currently.

Doesn't anyone find it amusing that they're supposed to be teenagers but they look like they're in their twenties?

They're 16/17 in human years yes...however they could have been 5 or 6 when Chad (that was his name right?) baught em... a definition of a baby turtle is really one that's too young to breed... turtles don't mature till their 16 or even older. And in some states it's illegal to sell baby turtles. I know in Washington the turtles sold in pet stores (especially PetsMart and PetCo) are roughly 15-20 years old.
