Fast Forward continuing episode numbering...

Just a little info I discovered concerning Fast Forward. On yahoo's tv section for next weeks sneak preview they list the episode being shown as "Future Shellshock" and the episdoe number of 118. If you do the math, that means that the 13 episode lost season is also counted in the numbering since seasons four ended with episode 104. So assuming FF is 26 episodes, that means that the new series will be up to 143 episodes at the end fast forward!

This is great for a number of reasons:

1) The Lost season is officially counted as episodes. In other words, they're actually numbered with the main series.

2) Fast Foward is a direct continuation after the Lost Season, which means it is in continuity, whether people want to accept it or not.

SO THERE!

This is so exciting! The series is doing so well. JUST A WEEK AND A HALF TO GO!

I think the reason the "fastforward" series is shown first is because maybe the movie will continue wherever the last tribunal series ep., which I believe WILL be aired afterwards, leaves off. The turtles will most likely face serious stuff from the "real Shredder" the mystics talked about, and Raph, Mike and Don get all "directionless" needing Splinter and Leo (who has already been lost and found) to make them work together and defeat the "new evil" in the new movie! Just a theory.

The same way series involving Scrappy Doo are in continuity until someone else says so? Seruiously, can one spell W-E-A-K
A-S H-E-L-L A-R-G-U-M-E-NT?

After FF debuts, and it actually has good writing, I bet most people won't mind. It depends on if Cody isn't shoved down our throats in every episode, and if the writing is consistent with Seasons 1-4.

If the series has poor writing though, then yeah, we all know people will pretend it never existed.

143 episodes is a pretty big number, but that's only a quarter compared to the number for the old school series.

But yeah, I'm glad that the show is still going on even if they'll air something not everyone's looking forward to.

Actually that would be almost half as many as the old series which had 296.

Anyways I already knew this but yeah confirmation is always nice.

Um, no. The original cartoon lasted 194 episodes. (193 if you don't count that misnumber ep 74)

In other words, the new show is only around 50ish episodes less than the original cartoon. That is pretty damn good.

Typo there I ment 196. There's two lost episodes. 1 I believe involving Wyrm and Scumbug and one about Shredder's Brother which I heard was never aired in the US or put on tape.

Really? The ep with Shredder's cop brother, Kazuo Saki, was never shown in the U.S?? I saw it when it aired in Germany (in German) and I have it on CD (it's in English). I wasn't aware that it's considered one of the "missing" eps.

I also remember seeing an episode involving Shredder's younger brother. I BELIEVE that was the episode where they freed the Technodrome from the ice, only to crash into the ocean.

That was "Rock Around The Block", "My Brother, The Bad Guy" involved them bringing The Technodrome back from Dimension X and into the Artic
