Tribunal name meanings
The Ninja Tribunal
“Kon” is Japanese for mental energy. “Chikara” is a kanji character, also a Japanese symbol of power. “Juto” is a Swahili derivative meaning “be ashamed” or “dejected” or “deplore”. While I wouldn’t think that Swahili should have anything to do with this character, these facts would explain why he hides his face. “Hisomi” (ひそみ) is kana/hiragana/phonetic for the noun, knitted brows / frown. “Shi’Shou” is the common name among the members of The Ninja Tribunal. Perhaps this means that they are native of Shi-Shou County in Jing Subprefecture. Since I have more urgent matters to attend to, I won’t be doing anymore research on the subject for a week or so. Anyone who would like to show me up or prove me wrong, please do.

It's really nice that the writer's took their time to find real Japanese names. Shows how much they want to make it feel like the Turtles are in Japan. Very cool.
