Your Movie Hype

so what is everyone hyping themselves up for this movie?

starting February i am going to be watching the PRiS Next Mutation episode (it'll also serve as hype for the new Power Rangers season that month), I'll also be watching the TMNT anime, Behind the Shells tour and the Fast Forward dvd.

What i'm going to do at the end of February is watch the first movie, the week after watch the second movie, the week after the third movie and the next week the new movie will be out

I also plan on re-watching my '87 Toon DVDs from S1 to the end of S4 since the S4 dvd will be out by then. I am not sure if i want to start watching that next month to lead up to the movie or if i should hold them after the movie since i'll probably want to watch something TMNT after the movie.

that is probably what i will do, if i can find time atleast. i know i'll want to watch all 3 movies, atleast the first season of the old series, then the next mutation dvd i'm supposed to be getting in the mail soon, the 2k3 series(atleast what episodes i have), and if i'm feeling extra turtley(couldn't think of a better word to describe it, lol) maybe even watch the fast forward dvd, but this all will we pending my available time from work/school/coaching

Good grief, sdp! Where will you find the time for all of that? I have no responsibilities, and I still have trouble finding time to watch any of my DVDs.

I'll at least watch the 1990 movie. Probably chuck some of my old and new toon DVDs in and watch my favorite epsiodes. And likely draw Turtles until they start crawling out of my ears.

I'd watch the whole trilogy before seeing the 2007 flick.

WHOLE, I say.

I've been in movie hype mode since about Thanksgiving. I've been dabling in reading fanfiction, which is something I really don't do very often. Watched movies 1 & 2 about a month ago. I'll give all three a watch in March (and maybe also sooner). I've been playing a mixed CD of TMNT tunes in my car repeatedly for about the last two months, too. And this weekend I'm having a sewing party where new pajamas will be made from the new movie fabric.

I really don't have the time to watch through all my piles of DVDs (and VHS tapes), but I never pass an opportunity for fangirl blithering, of which there's been A LOT.

lol its not that much

PRiS Next Mutation episode 22 minutes
TMNT anime 30 minutes
Behind the Shells tour 30 minutes
Fast Forward 13 22 minute episodes
watch one movie a week 3 weeks before the new movie.

its not that much time and i have 2 months to do it, in fact i'll have to see how i space it so i don't do it too fast ;D

, watching the 87 toon would take a while since i can only watch about 3 episodes max per day without getting ADHD but i'd do that after the movie came out and have as much time as needed.

Rewatch season 4 of the new toon, my friend hasn't seen it yet and I have to re-tape the eps in order for her. And I'll probably re-watch the first movie.

Well, like Roseangelo, I've been hyped since about Thanksgiving (maybe a little before, now that I think about it). Let's see, well I've already watched the 1st two movies again two nights ago, but I'll definitely watch all three again. I've got the leaked pics set as a screensaver and a pic of Donny on my desktop. I'll watch the '87 1st season (again), and a few of the 2k3 cartoons that I'm picking up. What else...Oh I've been taking pics of the movie figs in various poses (and I'll probably make up a little story to amuse myself while I wait). And of course I'll be staying on the forums daily! Nothing like hearing and seeing fans hype each other up. That's what'll get me worked up for sure.

Finally going back and finishing the second song/part of my Leo/Karai video...I took a break for real life happenings and a Justice League Unlimited project I got pulled onto, but I always wanted to go back and finish it...I never have time for my "just for fun" stuff anymore, kind of depressing

My hyping started a couple of days ago when I bought the Cowabunga Carl van (which has just been released over here!) I'm avidly searching out all the new TMNT movie figures that I can in the shops here, going in expectantly to see if they've got them in yet! Only one place has started selling so far though, and they've never got anything in! (only got 5 figures so far, plus the van and Nightwatcher.... I NEED MORE!!) I'll probably read all my favourite comics and whatnot and stick on a coupla DVDs closer to the time...

Oh and hope you get the DVDs soon Mikey2007, I posted them last friday so it shouldn't be too long! I've also got a coupla things waiting to be delivered, namely collected Tales vol 2 with signed bookplate, and a drawstring turtle bag from Roseangelo!!!

My hyping is just skimming this message board I'm saving the majority of the DVD watching for after the movie comes out...... cause I know after I see it, I'm going to be desperate for more! I already am sure I'll see it more than once but having an alternative to watch will help me not break the bank by trying to see it every night ^_~

The Next Mutation?
TMNT Movies 2 and 3?
Trying to soften the blow if the new TMNT movie turns out to be not so good?
Because watching these will make TMNT seem like an Oscar worthy all time classic!

My hype has consisted of buying the figures, watching the cartoons on dvd and the 90's movies.

Of course another big part of it is being on here and interacting with fellow TMNT fans!!

My hype, uh, started nearly a year ago, when I heard of the movie coming out. And now what I do while I am waiting. Spending time on the forums, watching the movies and new toon when I find the time, and I also like watching fan's music videos they post on youtube. I find them interesting.

Also, my birthday is March 27th, so I would have been hyped up about anything from that fact alone. Pretty cool birthday present to myself, huh, a treat of reuniting with my favorite green team back on the big screen.

3 days prior to the release of the movie, I'm gonna go on a TMNT fast.

I'm not gonna invovle myself with anything TMNT related. I'm gonna put away my DVDs, cover up my figures, stop watching Fast Fowrad(wait, I already do that), I'm not gonna read the comics, and I'm gonna stay away from the offical site and this forum.

I've got a few up you can watch if you want(ive done about 10 or so prolly, not all were ever finished but maybe 7 or 8 lol).

I'm going to do the basic hype ups...weekly trip to the comic store to purchase the movie comics(wont have the patience for Diego to send me copies if he does lmao). Other than the comics the 22nd i'll watch straight movies 1-3, then premire day i'll watch 1&2(if time allows) right before leaving to drive to the theatre. Or watch the first movie on the drive to the drive-in if their showing it.
