How do you display your collection

Eh??? Oh, and does anyone know of any cases that hold the carded figures to protect them in?

Hey, you can call it a 'bo'. But you can call it a
Ford Tempo too...it's still just a stick.'

display

My only window in my room goes outward, so there's a small ledge on it. I've placed my figures on the ledge in lines. I placed the four Turtles at the beginning and some of their comrades in the back. I have the bad guys on the left and the good guys on the right.

Some of the figures were a pain to position to stand up straight, so I had to tape some of their feet in place.

Trouble is its a pain to move them all and dust the ledge, so the wood under their feet in pretty dusty.

not very well at the moment. i just set them on top of desk, adn the new figures are around/on my printer. im hoping to find a cheap crappy bookshelf to put them on. earlier today, when i spun around in my desk chair, the back hit the desk, and they all fell over, and most of them fell into the floor =P

The ones I have mint on the card are stacked up on the floor next to a wall. My old ones from when I was a kid are too beat up and broken to display, many of them would'nt be able to stand because they don't have legs

I used to only have about three or four of the old figures I'd dug outta toyboxes around the house and I had those up on my VCR. But now that I have almost tripled my collection (and I'm not done yet) I rearranged my room, and now they all sit on my old wooden toybox like some sort of TMNT shrine. (Which makes sense, since the box had been used as my shrine/alter back when I was actively practicing Wicca.)

Unfortunately, it doesn't hold my Technodrome or some of my misc. turtle gear so that's scattered around my room.

Star Trek soft cases fit some of the cards from the older line.

At the moment I pretty much use all of my storage boxes as make shift tables. Most of my collections are packed away in those boxes. The rest are packed away in closets. Several other items and everything I've been buying lately is placed on top of the boxes. I have several loose figures and packaged figures displayed all over the room. I used to have my walls full of carded figs but I took everything down when I moved some months ago. I needed more room you know! Once I'm finished buying all the shelves and display cases I need, the real decorating will begin. I also used to set up dioramas. One of my favorite ones was made to resemble a scrap yard kinda like in the episode Enter The Fly.

the third shelf is a little lax at the moment hehe, but i got some more figs coming in a couple of days to make it lest empty =)

im thinking of going all kindergarten on this bookcase's ass with construction paper and what not and put in some background scenery. man, i love acting like a little kid. its a nice hobby when i spend the rest of my time dealing with databases, expert systems, computer architechture, etc, etc.
