Hasbro's Marvel Legends

So I was in Wal-Mart today, browsing through the action figures, and saw the new Marvel Legends. They had X3 Beast, Ultimate Iron Man, Emma Frost, Hercules and Planet Hulk.

Here's my opinion: Beast's eyes look retarded and his head looks too small for his body. Emma Frost's proportions seem off (her head looks too small for her body). Ultimate Iron Man didn't look too bad. The skin color pigments seem to be off. They're either to pale or too pinkish.

In summary: I really wish Toy Biz were still making the Marvel Legends.

I picked them up. Not bad figures, but I have to agree I miss Toy Biz. Planet Hul was a reused skulpt (mostly) from House of M hulk (I think they also used that skulpt for Spider-Hulk...*shrugs*) Banchee is weird, not a huge fan of the head skulpt and the body just seems very bland. Love Ironman. Hercules also has a wacky head skulpt, but otherwise is great. I agree about Beast, on the whole he just seems sooo small. Annihilus looks sweet though, a great (if much smaller than the other offerings) build-a-figure.

Hercules and Ultimate Iron Man are great figures.

Another thing that kind of bugs me is the fact that they no longer package the comics with them.

I believe they were going to phase out the comic pack-ins even before Hasbro acquired the license.

I still have some of my X-Men figures from when I was a kid, but today's prices of action figures keeps me from collecting them today. The Marvel Legends look pretty neat though, it's just I already collect comics, trading card games, and off and on Heroclix.
