Yay!

I would just like to express my happieness that here in New York I have finally found the new figures. I was at the mall earlier today and decided to stop in KB Toys, and lo and behold, there is one figure left, Raph, for only $5.99. Needless to say, I now have one more TMNT figure in my collection. However, when I was at the very same KB less than a week ago, they had no new figures. I come back in a week, there's only one figure left. And think some had doubts this new show wouldn't be popular. Won't be popular my ass. It hasn't even started and already the figures have been sold out in under a week. Wow. Oh yeah, and the new figures absolutely beat the **** out of the old ones. They're awsome.

In-depth talk about the figure, mayhaps? How does the toy handle? Is it sturdy? What articulation does it have? Tell meee!

Yeah, I noticed about the sais. The holders should be closer up front. You can fit the sais in his belt, provided you raise his arms all the way up (and keep them there). So he's just holding his sais. Now I just have to find the other three TMNT, Shredder, Splinter, and the Foot. I think a massive search of all KB Toys in the area is in order, either this weekend or the next. I also think the other accessories are cool, I really like the pully line. And detailing seems better than the old figures, espcially the weapons.

Oh, and you were wondering more about the figure, Raphael-sama, so here's everything important I can think of. There's articulation at the hips, shoulders, elbows, wrists, and neck. Ball joints at the hips and shoulders, rotating joints for wrist and elbow. I believe the belt is removable, but haven't tried to take it off yet. His mask is a separtate piece of rubber attached to his head, it isn't removable. Also, interestingly enough, the front of his shell (called the plastron, or something like that, I think?) Is rubber, attached to the rest of his body. I'd say it's a fairly sturdy figure, Raph stands up very easily, despite the many positions I've put him in. All accessories fit well in his hands, you don't have to force them in, and they don't fall out once he is holding them. I'd say that the paint job is very good, in some areas, Raph's skin is a darker shade of green. Overall, these new figures are better than the older ones, well worth the money. If you don't have any yet, well, what are you waiting for?

Hey wignut I too am done with the figures and right now I am building my foot soldier army I too have 3 opened foot soldiers. But I also have
(MOC)Splinter, Raph, Don, Leo, Mike, Foot, Shredder(2)
(Opened figures) Splinter, Raph, Don, Leo, Mike, Foot(3), Shredder
Shredder is definately the best overall figure and my favorite from accesories to articulation to the look, my second favorite fig is dum dum dum dum SPLINTER I love how you can pull the dagger out of his cane.
This week i will get the battle shell, cycle, and the sewer sled.

I did! Her (rather lame) excuse was that she had just been to the movies with her friends and didn't have enough money to buy them!
