i heard someone say AMAZON has it?? i cannot find it on the site, or bestbuy or target?? where are you guys finding the lost season??

It's out (or coming soon, can't recall the release date) in Australia. No release date for the US yet.

Not released here yet, Amazon might have Volume 5 of the original series. The Lost Season gets its Australian release on March 7th, IIRC.

Speaking of Amazon, you CAN buy from other regions with your current amazon account. I know, I tried to buy NT:TNM DVD Volume 1 and was successfull. Shipped all the way from the UK within a week.

Anyone know if Amazon Aus. will have it? OR whatever Amazon region serves Australia?

Why can't you guys just wait until the US release? You complain about paying 10 bucks for a Fast Foward DVD or paying for the re-release of the first season in set form but your cool to import a DVD for 30 dollars that's in a region code you need a special kind of player to play and happens to be missing an episode.

you're exactly right, i don't understand it, i want to see it as much as the next guy, but i don't want to pay 30 bucks when i can wait till later and get it for cheaper and in the right format, i don't wanna watch them on my computer and i'm already gonna be spending enough money next month, haha and i'm sure they will be up on youtube after they get released, so i could watch them on there if i really really needed to, depending on when they finally come out here

I'd pay the money if it had Ninja Tribunal; region codes and PAL aren't an issue for me. I'll still be able to see the episodes anyways and I'll buy them when a proper set is available.

To everyone saying wait til the US release, where is solid proof it is coming? The way I see it, 4kids could or could not release it. It is their call afterall. Trust me I want the US release, and would gladly wait, if their was concrete proof besides speculation, that it is actually coming. Hell I'd wait for two years, as long as I know it's coming. As of now, doesn't seem like it is though.

By all means though, please prove me wrong. Show me proof it is coming. I would so love to be wrong about my assumptions on this one.

There is no proof, it's all assumption. Pretty much just based on the idea that it surely would come out eventually. But since the Aussie DVD doesn't have Ninja Tribunal, I'm holding off as long as possible.

Unfortunately, "The Ninja Tribunal" will be on the season 4 set, whenever it comes out. With all the millions of times they read people of the internet bash them for episodes out of order, they'll make the first four season sets 26 eps each, like they 'should' be. I imagine how soon we see a Season 4 set depends a lot on how well the sets sell. If they turn out to be the smashing success I expect, we have nothing to worry about. ^_^

Then, I'm sure The Lost Season will follow the first four sets. I dare say they might even be intending to surprise us with "Nightmares Recycled" (whatever they can salvage or recreate from it). While those are pretty high hopes, if the sets are the success I expect them to be, there might be a chance. After all, they need to add some sort of purchase incentive for the people who got the Region 4 set instead of waiting X number of years.

Actually, 4 of the 5 Ninja Tribunal eps are already up on Youtube. For some reason, episode 2 isn't there.

That's because the On-Demand service they all came from never aired that one. No idea why. But, "The Ninja Tribunal" is the last ep of season 4, where The Turtles are hijacked and brought to Japan. That's the ep that won't appear on any known DVD anytime soon. I knew someone would get it confused as to whether we were referring to the episode by that title or the 12 ep season that only one known country has seen yet (Greece) because Dan Berger (at NinjaTurtles.com) insists on calling 'The Lost Season' the same as that ep. I should write him a letter about it now.

Please show me proof that 4Kids aren't money hungry and would hold back on releasing something that will rake in profit. The episodes are done, you honestly think their stupid enough not to bring them out?

That's like saying "Insane didn't air here the US will never see it! IMPORT!!!!" Yet it was on the Season 4 set wasn't it?

Fast Forward is being pushed right now, airing TLS would screw up the continuity more then it already is and confuse kids. Their going to finish with FF, then when the TMNT return air TLS. Then they will release part 2 of the FF season, and lastly release TLS after that to finish the whole series off. Unless the show gets picked back up in which case TLS might just be a DVD release show. Or they will be stupid and air it, then air another season after that with the same animation style as FF, or if they see TLS getting higher rating we might get 2K3 style back. Point being their not going to release a DVD set for something they haven't aired yet if they plan on airing it. If you had the DVD set then you wouldn't watch it so they would make no money off advertising during that half hour.

Either way there's no way their going to pass up releasing episodes they paid to produce. TLS is listed as 13 episodes, being as how one was canned due to content one would assume the 13th episode is the season 4 finale. Someone posted in another topic that space was provided for TLS in the episode listing so there's your proof right there.

Again, I hope to be wrong. However seeing as this big push for TMNT: FF consists of half year episodes being aired, I can take a guess that if the show is picked back up we wouldn't be seeing those episodes until fall of 2008, since they're not even airing the second half of FF until this fall.

If the movie suceeds that's good and all, but in the downtime, people will lose interest. That could be a pretty big blow.

One question though? By everyones books, has 4kids done more right then wrong, when handling this property? I've seen answers to this before, but just wanting to refresh the matter. And if people say what I've seen said before, then honestly why wouldn't TLS ever have a chance at NOT coming out, if in many minds, 4kids has screwed up a lot already. Wonder why Mirage doesn't even have a clue when its coming?

PLEASE LET ME BE WRONG! I WANT TLS!

4Kids may screw up but they seem to get the idea. A season 1 set is a step in the right direction. Putting Insane on the season 4 set is another step.

Yeah we might have to wait forever before we get TLS but I'm telling you it's coming. And it's Dan that doesn't know not Mirage.

So don't worry we'll get it.
