TMNT 2k3's Shredders: Which one do you enjoy the best?

With the Lost Season finally out and watchable, we have seen what the original Shredder was capable of. He is a very powerful demon. However, he is more of a warlock than a ninja warlord. Ch'rell held that mark, since he didn't have magic to rely on. So which of these two Shredder's do you prefer? The demon or the alien?

Ah well, besides that goof, I'll go with Ch'rell, just for the longer tenure and the larger development. He had a lot more ambition, a grudge, and a human side

Oroku Saki does it for me. weather he had a alien in his gut or is imortal, whatever. he was the best one. OROKU RULES!

The Demon was not Oroku.

The poll was asking which SHREDDER was good, so an intelligent answer would be "either way, SHREDDER rules"

ok let me put it this way. Oroku Saki is my favorite but overall SHREDDER RULES

I very much like the Season 1 version of Shredder and then the Lost Season Shredder. They are both very much alike in many ways. Until we found out Shredder was Ch'rell, it didn't matter to us because he was EVIL incarnate. However, this version of the Shredder was a demon, and it stands that of course he is TRUE evil. Either way, they were both great.

so far i like the utrom shredder more. he always gives me this sense of overwhelming doom. but i do enjoy that shredder is back in some form. and to me i think that whoever is involved with creating this cartoon is a genius because there have been so many twists and turns through out the whole series and characters are tied into each others histories very well. i never seen a cartoon done that well...then fast forward happened but we wont talk about that

As much as I think the imposter Shredder rocked, I voted with demon Shredder. A bit impulsive of me, but oh well

The original seems to be much more powerful, and deadly. I can't wait to see him in my Lost Season Box Set when I get it!

The "real" Shredder is just a bad ass. I mean I love characters who have little development but you just kinda know enough about them to figure it out for yourself how stuff went down.

It's a tough choice, but I'm going to have to side with the demon Shredder.

While he didn't have nearly as many episodes to make a distinct impression as Ch'rell did, the writers seemed to go all out with his character in an attempt to compensate for that. I'd say it was successful. The original Shredder seemed just a little unhinged in his mannerisms. He seemed all powerful, primal in his lust for battle and conquest. Plus he had a cool cape to go with his armor. All right, so that reason is superficial...

Well in my opinion, nothing beats the genuine article, so I'll have to go with the real (Tengu) Shredder. I mean, he had a brief appearance, but HELL he made an impression on me. I mean, Utrom Shredder was badass too, but he's got NOTHING on the Tengu one.

I do wish those two met, though.

I like the utrom shredder better. I felt that the utrom shredder was a more interesting character. I think the powerful crime lord ninja master angle is a lot cooler that a powerful demon. The utrom shredder also seemed to have a overall more baddass feel to him(especially season one). As a pure fighter, the utrom seemed to be more skilled.When karia and the tengu shredder fought at foot headquarters, she was able to land blows at him with her sword. Don't get me wrong, the tengu shedder was cool and becasue of his powers, he coulkd beat the utrom shredder but im not a huge fan of magic and mysticism.

Tough call, but I went with Utrom Shredder. I really like the original Shredder as well, he shocked me quite a few times (in a good way) with his power and being able to just wipe out whatever he doesn't like with the wave of a hand so to speak, without going all beserk with insane laughter and such. But something about the Utrom Shredder...his scaryness factor was more through his patience and calmness. He won't beat you up if you do wrong, no, he'll just cut off a bodypart (or have it done by someone else anyway) without looking back.

Original Shredder is more powerful and intimidating in his own way, but you really don't have the time to be scared of him (you'll be dead), as opposed to Utrom Shredder, you never really know when it's coming, or what'll really piss him off. He'll take out inconveniences of course, but when something really "bothers" him, then odds are he won't kill you, just make you wish he had. Stockman does, lol.

"Lost Season Shredder" - Lost season, was there something I missed? Did they release season 5 or whatever that got replaced by fast forward... I thought that was only out in Australia or something... I am not sure about Demon Shredder either, all I recall was Utrom and Saki from season one; of those two I liked thinking he was human like the comics tbqh, but I dont mind the fact he is an Utrom now.

I have to admit I like good old Oroku Saki, just because we have gotten to know so much about him through every single part of the franchise. Besides the original 87 cartoon that made him look like kind of a weiner who took guff from Krang... But besides that, the comic and this cartoon have really expanded on Oroku Saki, his life, and background...

I also like Demon Shredder, just because he is really ticked off at everyone! That guy is evil in it's truest form, and truely a foe to be reckoned with... I loved watching the "Ninja Tribunal" episodes because of what a great concept they put together... It wasn't tacky, and to make an outrageous story like that seem "non-tacky" is amazing to me... I think it worked well since they did it through so many episodes. If they would have tried to force all that into only like 4 episodes, it might not have flowed so well... But the story was well told... Good Job Mirage! You rock!
