couple questions about season 5 of tmnt (lost season)

I have a couple questions about the lost season of tmnt 2k3 series.

1-Is season 5 more darker and much more violent than the other seasons?

2-Is this why 4kids did not show it on fox becuase of the dark season and if they will ever, will they have to cut anything out?

It's not a LOT darker, there have been darker episodes before it, but thematically it is heavier. It's also very continuity heavy, so if kids miss one episode they're going to be at a loss for the events of the following. I don't think they'll cut anything if they do, they already scrapped one episode from it.

ok thank you.

However you didn't answer the other question why Fox didn't air the season but the special on-demand did?

What episode was cut?

I really don't think it is any darker from what I heard they decided not to air it on TV because they wanted to rush to Fast Forward.

The cut episode was one about Garbage man from what I heard and they cut it because it dealt with sensitive topics like conjoined twins or something like that. That is just what I heard it may or may not be true.

On the DVD they also left out the first episode that started the arc where they get attacked and kidnapped.

My thoughts is that they decided to hold off showing it because they needed an after FF story line and will probably go back to it. Maybe they didn't want to air episodes that show a whole new kind of shredder and create a new storyline for Karai before everyone saw the movie?

I don't know that many people would actually know the answer to that...It is all speculation I think

Yeah, but the kids don't know that. We have to remember that this isn't a series that is a "fans only" thing. There are kids who get up at the start of each weekend to see this. Then if they go to see the movie after seeing the Shredder Deamon, their little brains will be running over time. Older kids can see that these things are two seperate universes, but to the kids, this is all a part of one big world for them. One where there are no different story lines or comics or what-not, but a continuing adventure.

Besides, I don't think any kid now would know that the new movie is a sequel to an older movie. They are going to take it as something new. And I doubt that any kid is going to be serching the internet for all of the infomation on turtles he (or she) can get
