Will there ever be a TMNT/TMNT2 DVD

yes I know there ARE already DVDs but I mean a REAL DVD. I know the Ghostbusters or Terminator 2 treatment is a sewer pipe dream, but I'd like deleted scenes, behind the scenes, commentaries and most of all A COMPLETELY RESTORED, THEATRICAL VERSION OF EACH FILM. I hated how they cut stuff out that I had already seen in theaters

on wikipedia page of the first movie it listed a bunch of stuff that was left out in the movie completely. im hoping that theres a complete version on dvd soon. it would be smart to release it around this time.

I agree...if done right, the commentary can be my favorite special feature. The problem is that some of them tend to be boring (the worst I ever started listening to was Rambo:First Blood 2). The key is to get 2 or more people in one room talking to each other about it. I would love to hear a commentary from the director and writers, one from the actors, and one from eastman and laird.

I would love to see all the deleted scenes (unlike Ghostbusters, which jipped us with only a few of their deleted scenes, there was so much more that what they gave us), maybe not an extended edition, which would be cool, I guess.

Documentaries on the franchise and on the films...real docus too..not these 15 minute blips that we get jipped with sometimes. I mean, TMNT deserves. It was probably equal to the Batmania that occured in the late 80s, if anyone remembers that.

Most of, a good transfer!

I would say just keep sending letters telling New Line you would pay for a special edition

All of us would love to see a TMNT 1 & 2 SE. It has been brought up countless times. I really don't know what are chances are but even though it seems the old series dvds are doing well I don't know if New Line will ever give it to us.

They wouldn't do it without the 3rd movie, but I wouldn't mind. I still have a thing for the 3rd movie. I remember seeing it in theaters as a kid and really enjoying it. I was so pumped leading up to the release I'd cut out every movie ad and article from every newspaper I could find and keep them in this old fruit basket. Hahaha I sound so hick, awesome.
