CGI turtles

Did you guys like the look of the CGI pilot?

I personaly hated it... The turtles dident look right at all. Their shells were kinda silvery-white.

Anyone out there who did like the look though?

I personally loved the CGI clip. Good for a Turtle-starved junkie!

Oh that TMNT cgi clip from awhile back was boring and attrocious...I kep tthinking 'this cant be the new series!' I think it was a demo for a proposed Hallmark series...and definately not the John Woo cgi film...which of course woul dbe on everyone's top films to see in 2003 had some bonehead execs decided to give it the axe.

I loved the CGI clip. Still do, I still watch it from time to time. Though you have to realize that this was produced very quickly and was in no way a finished product. It was a pilot to try and sell the idea for a CGI TV show. Instead, they decided to do traditional animation, and I'm very glad they did!

But I did like the overall look of the CGI, considering it was a rough draft.

I loved the clip as well. Seeing the turtles in 3D was cool, but I also kept in mind that this was just a teaser clip that still needed a lot of work. I bet the finished product would've been awesome.

I'll tell you what's wrong with the CGI clips. Their faces are too wide. This gives them the weird look. Plus the clip wasn't even finished. Like people said, it's a teaser.

The moment I heard that a CGI clip even existed I was totally ecstatic! This was of course long before I even heard of the this site; all I knew of was the official site.

My opinion on the official site on the whole at first was, "This is neat, for TMNT fans like myself anyway, but it still seems kinda strange to have a website for something that's totally underground now." Of course now I check it out many times a day whenever I'm home (I don't dare check it out at school right now )

Anyway, back to the CGI clip. Yeah, like I said, it really thrilled me to know that such a thing existed. I found out about it via a friend who also sent me news on the rumored movie by John Woo. At that point I didn't know the idea was canned, so I was even more ecstatic than before! Once I found out the truth on the official site, I was totally disappointed. All the thoughts that went through my mind at the time went somewhat like this: "Why...WHY did that show have to be cancelled? It would've been one of the few shows I would watch on a regular basis, no matter how busy I was with schoolwork and anything else!" Man...the greatest times of my life went down the drain before they even came to be!

i thought it was alright
i'll watch just about ANYTHING turtle related now
i've been running dry for too long

the voices were bad, i don't like when they have pupils, but it did give me a nice reminder of the awesomeness of the turtles
