Well, My TMNT Saturday Marathon's Over...

And I just came back from the movie. Although I didn't dress up like a Turtle or wear a TMNT shirt or have a TMNT tattoo of any kind or whatever, I think I commemorated the Turtles just like any other die-hard fan. Like my schedule I made, I saw TMNT 1, then the Lost Season episode, one old series episode, the new FF episode, a Red Sky episode, had a Pizza Hut lunch (for the old series), saw the TMNT CN marathon, watched TMNT 2, and saw the new TMNT movie. I was going to have a hot dog dinner (for the new series) but the place was closed due to electrical problems.

For the movie, it could have been like an episode for either series but the CGI was breakthrough and the personalities were nailed so well (as was the direction) that it's a 7.5 for me at the very least.

Overall, it was a pretty good day...and that's saying something since I was considering dropping it and spending the day mourning over the loss of my angelic dog yesterday but still, I've been waiting quite a while for this. Anyhow, yep that's it from me. It's back to work for me...

I am sorry to hear about your dog. I lost my favorite pet cat who lived with my family for over a long time. I think over 11 years. This was a couple years ago.

Anyways, glad to see you did a great marathon.

Yeah. To me, she was one of my few friends off line (probably the best) and the only proof I had that angels could be incarnated on Earth. I can't imagine the process of her being put to sleep like she had to or where she could possibly be now. I nearly felt the loss of having a reason to live as well as never feeling the sting of the loss of a family member so bad.

But yeah, great TMNT movie! Won't see it again 'cuz I'm so cheap but I'll definitely be buying the DVD.

Really, the animation was good enough to be on IMAX. The level of detail in certain scenes (the Raph/Leo fight comes to mind) was insane.
