Michelangleo's Birthday
This episode really pisses me off... bad! There's alot of things I could nitpick about it. But the one thing that gets my goat is when the turtles think Mikey is DEAD, they seem little more than distressed. wtf?

You don't even seem distressed that you misspelled Michelangelo's name! Heretic! Burn him at the stake! Just teasing.

So what? His full name is hard to spell sometimes even I can admit that.

Ha, I'm pretty sure Shelf was just joking.
I mean hell, even Eastman and Laird spelled it wrong for a long time! "Michaelangelo" |

I'll just use the excuse that they can't show too much negative/sad emotion at the idea that he could be dead. I don't know if anyone's ever noticed this before but I found that sometimes it seems they went out of their way to never use the d-word, dead, died, kill, etc. I think the closest thing they used was the word "perish".
But maybe they were too much in shock to really think anything so soon? |
