Fans of Jon Du Prez's score, post here!
I really love the theme tune he created. It really adds to the pseudo 'grown-up' feel of the live-action movies. It annoyed me as a kid that the movie didn't feature the music from the cartoon, but nowadays I much prefer it. I know it wouldn't have fit into the new movie, but it would have been nice to hear it, all the same.

I know I'm a huge fan. It was serious, and yet had that mildly silly synthesizer sound that was in a lot of '80s movies... so it was still fun. Good stuff.

The theme that plays during all the touching turtle moments ("about what I said about, you know, not needing you...") is still one of my favorite themes of all time and I hum it loudly at appropriate times to enhance the mood of real life situations.

Loved it... one of the only scores that I would actually purchase. Here's hoping it will see the light of day... much like the GHOSTBUSTERS score, which had a VERY limited CD release. ...or leaked.. wouldn't matter to me.

You know, it's funny no one has brought up Monty Python yet.
He did work for The Meaning of Life and worked with Eric Idle on several songs. Not to mention he worked with Eric again on the Broadway Musical, Spamalot. Wow! TMNT, UHF and Monty Python. I can't say I'm not a huge fan!
