Today's New Fast Forward Episode "Milk Run" Discussion

Ok soooo we know absolutly nothing about this episode besides what the lame preview showed and half the time with Fast Forward previews the things shown are hardly ever in the episode or at least in the same context.
It would be nice to see Bishop though.
EDIT: Well now thanks to blue_angel99 & tvguide.com we now know what the episodes about.

Mercenary Torbin Ziixx gets the turtles to help him smuggle humanitarian aid past the Triceratons.
mmmk so are the Triceratons bad or what? And are the turtles now going against Bishop to do this all?
I guess we'll all find out in a few hours.

Have you ever met a mail-carrier who didn't want to go postal (yeah, I said that) and rain destruction upon the Earth? O_o I didn't think so.

Well let it be said that I don't ever credit people lol
And yeah I thought the same thing the only sign that The Triceratons even have any kind of power is when we saw one last week as the jail guard but even then that would seem to be a good type figure to me..
You know I wonder if they aren't going to start taking things from vol. 4 of the mirage comics now.

Is it me, or is Raph's mask more like a reddish orange than an actual red? Compared to his mask color on the 2k3 toon.

Let me just start off by saying that this is the second episode of the 2K3 series I have ever seen, Casey Jones being first (at 9am lol).

Now, I am a fan of the comics, the 1987 show, and the movies.

Now for my quick review of this Fast Forward Episode:
All of the turtles seem true to thier personalitities, Mickey especially fuinny. I like it. Raph an angry turtle...Leo only points out the obvious...and Donnie...well he is very Donnie. As for the Zixx guy, well he seems pretty chill for a bad guy. Like his attitude, reminds me of Casey Jones. Doesn't his voice sound like Troy Mclure from the Simpsons? I knwo Phil Hartman is RIP, but man it sounds just like him.

This episode...the whole Fast Forward series...not so bad? It held my interest the whole time. The little double cross from...Zixx?...nice way to beign. A little bit of explaining throughout, leading to a Triceratons invasion and battle. Of course, there are way too many to fight, but that just makes things a little suspenseful I guess.

It seemed to have plenty of action battle sequences which is always nice to see...considering they always tone it down in the movies.

Loved the cliffhangers at every episode. Classic Saturday morning Turtle cliffhangers at every commercial...perfect!

As for the Turtles, they are in the future. Everything seems to reflect that. I don't see whats so bad about all of this. Seems kind of fun. The weapons are Star Wars rip offs, but thats ok by me. Plus Leo just beats most of the Triceratons with his bare hands.

O, and Triceratons...umm...nice...great enemy choice.

But wait. A double double cross at the end? The Turtles not heroes to those people after all? A setup? For bombs and explosions? The containers were the weapons? Zixx...making for a great enemy.

But those guys are also fighting the Triceratons? So maybe they didn't do bad after all?

Its a lot for a little kid to take in I suppose, but I am an adult, so I got it. Hopefully? Great episode.

So even though I have never seen a Fast Forward episode ever and only one 2K3 episode before this, I will admit that is was thoughroughly enjoyable. Crosses and crosses, it was liek a crazy movie of who can trust who. The Turtles kicked everyones...shell...in. I am glad I watched and I plan to continue watching...assuming I can get up this early every Saturday...hmm maybe Tivo?

I don't know what else to say besides I loved it! I give it an A. Much better than last week!
Zixx still isn't bad or good so that clears that up. *oh wait I guess that doesn't clear up anything!* *gets acne cream*
It was nice to see just the Turtles in an episode by themselves for once it's been awhile.
It was really cool seeing the triceraton gangs and it was also nice to have some nice action and fighting.
I gotta admit Zixx had me fooled I really thought he was doing something good.
I'm more than sure we haven't seen the last of those aliens or the Triceratons.
It did make me think though why are the Triceratons bad again?
It would seem the writters have forgotten how the whole turtles in space arc ended with them befriending the Triceratons and them becoming peacefull of course it all could have just been a trick. *Shruggs*
Oh and it was night time the entire episode I'm starting to like that they go back and forth from night and day.
I'm glad Raph wasn't the brunt of all the hologram jokes But I did laugh when he thought that one was a hologram and Zixx punched him poor raph!
Btw I was laughing my @ss off when the Triceraton kept falling for it though.
Oh and was it just me or was the animation and art slightly better as well? It also looked darker again.
EDIT: Holy crap I can't wait till next week lmao @ Mikey and Dark Raph!

Nah I think it could be your tv yeah? Cause the show actully looked pretty much as close as 2k3 as FF has been to date in my book.

Well it makes sense that not all Triceratons are good. I mean after they got under new leadership in season three and became a more peaceful race it's not like All Triceratons followed this new way. Some would cling on to their more militeristic ways of the past. If they can't do it offically then they become pirates, space scum, muraders.

Anyway I loved this episode. Zixx is my favorite original Fast Forward character and him tricking the Turtles into helping him was mean but not bad. With the villains of Fast Forward being more black and white then 2K3's villains were a gray area character like Zixx was quite nice.

I'm glad Raph only fell for the hologram thing once this episode, I was afraid that was going to be a running joke again. The Turtles personalites were closer to normal, raph and Leo were not dumbed down as much.

even with Ninja Time the dialog was more serious this episode. the fighting was closer to the first four seasons it was nioce watching Leo and Mikey owning the Triceratons with ease, and Raph doing the same.

Also no Cody, not eve a second of Cody screne time this episode.

Over all an 8/10 this was a very solid episode. My favorite of the season bar none.

I liked this new episode alot also. It definitely blew the last jammerhead episode away. I love to see triceratons in the bad guy role again (whether that was or was not true). Hopefully they fight some more triceratons this season. Obviously the ending had a pretty good twist that I didn't even see coming. I assume we will see these aliens come to earth with their explosives sometime soon.

This episode for me was almost (but not quite) as good as the Bodyjacker episode for FF (which is my favorite so far).

Next week's looks pretty interesting as well. Hopefully they can build now on the anticipation some people are building up.

Great episode, what a breath of fresh air. Cool fights, limited corny one-liners, a double cross, Triceratons. I'm impressed.

Did any one hear the light saber sound when the Triceraton found Zixx?

Actully you know you made me just think of something!
What if the Triceratons really aren't the bad guys of this episode and the Turtles where!

Yeah I liked the show but was dissapointed last week this one brought me back especially with that ending & ahah yeah I caught that to!
The thing that I really liked is that we will finally be getting a show acurate toy for once! Playmates really need to get off their butts and bring these toys out...they wonder why they don't sell...the poor sales have a huge part to do with the fact that they Bring out characters way to late...

Nah, not my tv, cause in the 2k3 episode earlier this morning, Raph's mask was red, while the FF episode was reddish orange for me. Maybe my cable company has different hues going through?

But, yeah, I LMAO when the triceraton hit the hologram and smashed his hand in that canister, and roared out in pain and disgust!

ALso, I snickered when Donny was talking in techno to Raph, and Raph flipped his lid and stabbed a sai into the thing Donny was trying to fix.

Nice fighting scenes too.

Wow, very nice episode. Definitely made up for last week's. Yes it was good even though they said: "It's ninja time!" The plot twists at the end actually seems like a specialty for FF. We've had what, one or two out of 4 seasons of the old 2k3 while we've seen just as many in one season of FF. I hope this is just a sign of things to come. I love the fighting. It didn't really make the turtles look completely unstoppable with the bad guys getting a few good hits here and there, yet the turtles still manage to kick their butts.

Oh yeah, to top it all off, next week's preview looks awesome! Hopefully, the episode will be as awesome as the preview. I mean, the preview for last week looked really stupid, yet it turned out quite nicely.

It's been over a hundred years, and Traximus is probably dead by now and a new leader might lead them back to their old warring ways. Plus, we saw plenty of good Triceratons in FF so we know they're not all bad.

Besides it's not like all the Triceratons would follow Traximus. Quite a few of them would continue their war like ways. I mean we have Peaceful and warlike Triceratons now on Fast Forward so that seems likely.

I liked this episode a lot. I do agree with everyone when they say the fighting seemed a bit better in this compared to some previous episodes.

As for the Triceratons, remember this. They mentioned in this episode that they were an outsider gang, away from the Triceraton Republic, so the main group of Triceratons are probably good. It's like how most humans can be good, but there are wannabe thugs in the world acting like bootleg gangbangers. However, who knows, things could have changed.

I cannot judge if this episode was darker then the others, but it was damn good. I did see the fighting was stepped up a notch.

Does anyone think the bombs delivered to those aliens will lead to anything?

I think it would be a shame if they didn't follow up on this storyline, with the Turtles having a guilty conscience for delivering those aliens the bombs in the first place.

Another thing to note is that Zixx thought they needed the medical supplies in addition to the bombs, but the aliens dumped all the medical supplies.

Good episode!

NO CODY!

Everyone was in character!

There was one "It's Ninja Time!"

Nice twist at the end.

And I loved Leo's line, when the Triceraton told them they had just made an enemy for life: "Get in line!"

I approve and wish all of Fast Forward was more like this. But next week is more Cody crap... ugh.

I never really had a problem with Cody.

Its not like he's an annoying kid sidekick who wants to go with the Turtles on all their missions, or is magically a martial arts expert who can fight alongside the Turtles. Or worse...he's not Zack the kid sidekick from the old toon.

Most of the time Cody keeps to himself and even thinks Mikey is ridiculous at times. They don't even put him in every episode and in a lot of eps he does next to nothing anyway.
