Don't remember this guy really...sounds vaguely familiar though. It's been way too long. Some day I'm gonna have to start downloading these episodes...

Karpo's correct, it's Barney Stockman from the episode where Raphael gets kidnaped from the LaughIn comedy theater in order to be used as a catalyst for a weapon that forces everyone to laugh themselves helpless.

*whew*

Hmm... I don't remember that episode very well, but I think Barney never mentioned his brother being a fly.

I used to have that ep on tape, and I distinctly remember Barney somehow knowing that his brother had been turned into a fly. Imagine the family letters the Stockman households must get.

Barney knows his brother is a fan because he said his brother was stupid enough to turn himself into a bug or something.

Yeah, but as we know that wasn't the case at all. Krang was the one responsible for Baxter's mutation. Of coarse Barney probably didn't know anything about Dimension X, so he was under the assumption that his brother pulled a Jeff Goldblum on himself.

I believe that's actually where the idea originated from, only in Baxte's case it looked more like the situation they had in one of those old black and white flicks about a dude being turned into a bug.

It is more parody of the original the Fly movie, the looks is even similiar, and no doubt about the "Help meee!" in that one episodes...
