Does anyone else miss the old Wrap-Around Covers?

I really love them allot and think they make older Mirage comics really stand out from the rest of the comic book world.
What does everyone else think of them?
I wonder if we will ever see wrap-around cover again for this series?

yeah I like wrap around covers but I think they use the backs so often for advertising or upcoming issues now that they can't do it so much anymore.
The prequel comics laid side by side are a scene I know it's not quite the same but it's kinda neat

Yeah kinda sad that advertisings taken the place of art..actully most of the time the back side of the comic is an advertisment for a dvd or the tv show.
Yes I was very excited about the connected prequels but sadly the last 2 issues don't connect correctly.

Yeah I miss the independent feel the Mirage comics had. I mean even now their ads are pointless they only advertise other TMNT stuff. Like go comics online. And they do the same ad on the back of most issues.

I loved those covers I wish they never stopped.

Well not to deffend selling things in comics or anything but using gocomics is a bad example.
And those adds very well may be helping Mirage pay the bills.
As much as I miss the wrap-arounds they do what they gotta do.

Go comics and the turtle fund raiser are the only non-Mirage ads I've seen. And I doubt the turtle fund raiser pays for it's spot. So only the Go comics one is potentially a profit for Mirage.

The bulk of the ads are for the DVDs, other comics, or the statues. They could put that stuff in the back before the book ends on on the inside of the back cover.

As said in the other topic personal opinion but that's how I see it.

Well the dvd spot could be payed for by 4kids & the statue and figure adds would more than likely be done by playmates.
Or atleast I think they would be.
I do agree though it would be nice to have them inside for awhile and maybe when Laird brings back vol.4 we could get some nice old school Mirage wrap around covers.

Well, if you like wrap-around covers don't miss the Tales of the TMNT (v.2) collected editions (#1 & 2 already out)!

I'll get them at some point but I'm not so interested in comics I allready have.
The other thing that was cool about mirage back in the day was that when they would re-release something they would add a new short story to the comic.
It may have not always been the best or longest story but made it something new and worth buying again.
p.s. I love your art man when are you going to do another issue?

Yeah, I miss the old wrap-around covers and I'd definitely like to see 'em make a comeback. To this day, the wrap-arounds make the comics stand out as opposed to other, non-Mirage titles.
