Cool TMNT v.1 #15 Not-so-Easter Egg: Future Reference to FF?

I read through my Volume 1 #15 I just got the other day and was reading through the letters page, and one of them was written by a "Cody Dunn"

Pretty cool...when the guys were sitting around the table thinking of names for characters I wonder if Pete was there and said "Hey why don't we call this kid Cody...and his uncle, let's call him Darius can be...hm...how about Dunn?" Never realizing his mind didn't randomly pick those names, but were from a letter writer that irked him.

Check it out, I had a mini-freak session over that one.

Funny, I'll have to check my issue later.

I do wonder if Peter Laird was the one who came up with the idea of Cody Jones, anyone think he may be worked into Mirage canon at some point? I could see a Tales issue doing some futuristic story featuring Cody, if Laird wants him to be in the Mirage universe.

I dont know about that but I do know he had and has his hand and say in it all.
I really think orig. FF was going to be more like vo.4 of the comics but 4kids screwed them over.
