Stockholm Technodrome Arena

Look at this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stockholm_Globe_Arena and compare it to the Technodrome. The Stockholm Globe Arena is an indoor arena in Stockholm, and was opened in 1989. The Stockholm Globe Arena is primarily used for ice hockey. TMNT came to Sweden in 1990, so I don't think it was inspired by the Technodrome. But it would have been fun if the TMNT went to Sweden in the Vacation in Europe episodes, and thought Krang and Shredder had sent the Technodrome there when arriving in Stockholm and seing it from distance. When coming closer, they would have been surprised that it wasn't the Technodrome.

No giant eye, no tank treds...can't see it, but I wouldn't put it past the old toon writers.

I said: From distance. The TMNT would have thought that the guns and the "eye" had been removed. And the tank treds wouldn't be seen from distance.
