TMNT cereal

Anyone remember the cereal? I do, I had a Donatello bowl to eat with it. I also got the gummy fruit snacks too. How about you guys?

Mmmh, yucky.

I wonder why the turtles never had their own pizza-line (or did they?).
Cereal pizza with extra pepperoni and chocolate cream, owyeah.

I don't think they had their own pizza line but I remember you could get a free pan pizza from Pizza Hut with the coupon from the back of the TMNT Nintendo arcade game. I still have it. I always contemplated going there with it now and seeing their reaction when trying to use it.

2 things:

1. The Ninja Turtles Pizza; Wasn't it ONLY cheese pizza or were there toppings included?

2. With regards to the Turtle Bowls, and I'm not embarrassed to say this: but i was fortunate to collect all 4 Turtle Bowls; however, my collection started to fall and I was left with the Raphael Turtle Cereal Bowl.

Too bad because of our "health concious" crwod of morons, we'll never get anything like this again. We got Pez and Air Heads, fruit snacks and some disgusting liquid candy and candy bongs. The Pez and Airheads were cool, but no Pizzas, No cereals, and no pies...

Neutrino, don't you have somewhere either in the random merchandise thread or somewhere else a picture of the Ninja Turtles food snack that had green filling in it?

I loved that cereal. Chex and marshmellows was tastey. You know... as far as sugary marshmellow filled cereal's go. The closest thing I've found was Spider-Man cereal which seem to be the same thing but with Spider-Man shapes. There have been others I'm sure but those are the two I recall.

TMNT had a lot of food products but my favorite was the Ninja Turtle Pies. Mmmm delicious.

And though I'm sure that coupon is long past expired it might be worth taking it to Pizza Hut anyway.

Yeah. If only we hadn't done the unhealthy snacks in excess combined with more inactive children, there probably wouldn't be this backlash now. Everything in moderation, folks. As hard as that is sometimes.

Anyway, I remember the cereal. Maybe it tasted like not quite as good Lucky Charms, but it was awesome. I remember having some before I saw the first movie in theaters.

Considering you found a surrogate TMNT cereal, I found a surrogate TMNT pie. Table Time Chocolate eclair pies. At the very least, they have the vanilla custard inside them. But instead of being a pie pocket, it's an actual pie shape. If only J J's made one, it would be perfect.

Of course, it also has a lot to do with Schools having to cut good food, Gym class, and Recess out of the budget, as well as businesses not wanting to raise minimum wage so people don't have to work 3 jobs so they can come back and cook a healthy meal too. But anything to keep the large sheet over the poverty problem.

Though I do say, what the shell is up with Kids liking extreme sports, yet the only thing closest to partaking in these activities is drinking X-treme fruit punch (with a BMX bike on the package) and playing X-games on their X-box? Doesn't add up.

But then again, maybe it's cuz companies don't think TMNT food products would sell.

I definitely remember the cereal! I really liked it, too- the Chex nets were a lot better than the bland Lucky Charms cereal, although the marshmallows were pretty much the same. I don't recall the pizzas, although I do remember the Raphael ice cream bars. They were green Turtle heads, with red bandannas and red pieces of gum for eyes. I think the sticks had some kind of jokes or Turtle facts on them. I gotta check if they still make those.

Yeah, they still sell the ninja turtle ice cream around my neighborhood. I try to buy one every time I see the ice cream truck

As of last year they do, I dunno about this year. haven't been to somewhere that sells those anymore and the Ice Cream truck never comes around anymore.
