i think id have to give it to sub#2. but i have to admit that is under a bias.
i have fond memories of playing that game and it just brings me back. are those
almost from scratch or what? but everyone over all top notch. good stuff.

EDIT: i forgot to add..
sub#1 reminds me of that one guy from toy story that the wierd neighbor kid made.
sub#7...very clean revamp on retro-ing out the new wave set!!!!

I know you said not to be negative but I don't really think this would be considerd negative that is shark man from the super man action figure line I don't see anything custom about it to make it Armaggon.
The others are pretty cool though especially the mousers.
Shame I couldn't be a part of this because of a silly rule but I'll vote for some one anyways.
I voted for Motorhead because while it's very small it's dead on and 100% completly wonderfull.
Some of the others are cool but some are just things that I wouldn't really consider a custome like I said and let me add that Krands new walker is from that Mr. Freez figure.
To me a custome figure is when you do things to it so that it's almost a brand new figure and almost everyone did that.
But yeah Really great Job on the Motorhead figure. I'm impressed with him.

That way, everybody gets to have all their photos in this thread, except some will just be in link form.

I picked up that two pack with the same idea but never went anywhere with it because, to me, the 2k3 scale is what I am working with and that our favorite shark needs to be pretty big to work.

I do have say that the clay mouser set looks really, really interesting and so does Motorhead. I have a hunch the same person made them so this hard. "The Same As It Never Was" Mikey is also rather impressive; though I would have loved to see it in a 2k3 figure... but that's my own silly logic.

Overall, great work on these!

Maybe some of us will be inspired to make customs now. To me, that would be cool.

#1: Neat idea. Maybe if there was some paint covering the blue on the base or an arm attached, it wouldn't look like Krang stole Mr. Freeze's ride. Still, cool idea

#2: Aewsome just for making it from scratch. Bet it would look great with Mini-Mutants or those 2" figures they make now

#3: Same as #2 (though I have no idea who Motorhead is)

#4: This one is mine, so I won't comment

#5: Beautiful! Everything from the arm to the skin color is right. I must know how this was made (mostly the bandana and the nunchaku)

#6: I assume your going for show accuracy with this. That said, Raph didn't have a trench coat; he had a leather jacket. Otherwise, it's rather good. The body scars work, considering the 2k3 chests are thin and taking a knife to them could ruin it quickly. Also, the eye scar is really good

#7: Simple, yet effective. The weapons are great, and again, I would love a pair of nunchaku like that. Only thing is that I can't help but think I've seen these elsewhere with different belts. Still great

#8: Not to be mean, but where is it customized? It looks just like the King Shark that Slash linked to

I voted for the mousers, that 'mother mouser' is top notch! Got a soft spot for mousers, y'see!! That Motorhead is pretty awesome too, but i'm not too familiar with the character. Also realy dig the 'same as it never was' Mikey, its the bandana that does it for me! Enjoyed the other submissions too, but these three were my favourites!

Wow, you all did a great job. I've been keeping an eye on this contest, because I love seeing custom figures, especially turtle ones, even though I've never really made one myself.
